AUGUST LEADERSHIP TRAINING Sunday, August 11, 4-6 p.m., Harris Hall Sunday Connect, Discipleship Group, and emergent leaders mark your calendars! Next Sunday we will host a training that will encourage you and equip you to carry out UBC’s next steps for ministry. Childcare will be provided. SUNDAY CONNECT OPEN HOUSE August 18, 12-1:30 PM Following Worship on August 18 we will have a church-wide event for all ages to check out our Sunday Connect Classes! This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about our Connect Classes and see where you can get plugged in! Snacks and activities provided. PROMOTION SUNDAY August 18 is our Promotion Sunday! Children and students from babies to 12th Grade will promote up to their new Sunday School Classes. PARKING LOT UPDATE As you may have noticed, we are in the process of resurfacing our parking lot. Our new lot will only have two widened entrances, one on Wabash and the other on McPherson, making the lot much more accessible and safe. If you are visiting the church during the week, please park along Wabash Ave or in the preschool driveway. Our updates should be completed soon! We are grateful for your patience!

SCHOOL SUPPLY ROUND-UP UBC has begun its School Supply Round-up! Each year UBC collects school supplies to give to children at our mission sites. Donations are due TODAY! Collection boxes are in the hallways. Thank you for helping the children of our UBC mission sites! UBC MISSION HOUSE NEEDS The UBC Mission House is in need of supplies. Donations can be dropped inside the west doors to UBC or in the church office. Items needed are: Towels Sheets School Uniforms Ladies Plus Size Clothing Children’s Shoes RIGHT NOW MEDIA Over 3,000 discipleship videos for kids, youth and adults are at your fingertips. Utilize your access to RightNow Media to strengthen your spiritual walk. Find more information at ubcfortworth.org. COUNSELING RESOURCES UBC partners with Tarrant Baptist Association to help church members obtain counseling. Through the Counseling Scholarship program, those seeking counsel can have financial assistance in getting the help they desire. Contact the church office for more information.
