Let's get started!

BEING

Being is all about occupying the fact we exist and that our existence is worthwhile, valuable, and matters. Our beingness has been neglected through being ignored, used, dismissed, and discarded. We've found ourselves left alone facing big problems, scary situations, and handling overwhelming emotions. When we expressed ourselves, we may have found ourselves shutdown, criticized, diminished, or absorbed (where they make your expression about their value).

What we are NOT giving is a concept called “Reflection”. Reflection means that another person communicated back to you their awareness of YOU, what YOU like, what YOU dislike, what YOU feel, and YOUR value. They've taken time to take who you are within their consideration and reflect back to you who they see there.

An example from my experience: A few years back a friend and I were wandering down aforest trail gabbing about life. I brought up a childhood experience and my home in Flagstaff, AZ. I expressed some affection and longing for home. She reflected that back in a very kind tone, “Flagstaff is really important to you, isn't it?”

The fact she took time to see that Flagstaff was indeed important to me and reflect it back showed me she was listening and that what I felt and cared about mattered to her, too. That is reflection in action.

This week's journey is to begin releasing the shame around your BEINGNESS, reconnecting with love for your existence, and begin knowing who you are from the experience of simply being you as you are.

You will be doing some reflection exercises in the Discovery Journal elements that are a part of each week. Take your time with this, but please do them. Those that fall into the 98% success rate I have are those that do the work and stick with the growth curve.

To get the most out of this week, please complete the following before you begin Week 2 in 7 days.

• Complete watching the “Welcome Workshop” if you haven't already• Watch the Week One: BEING Workshop• Watch the Week One: BEING video• Complete each Daily Discovery Practice (follow the guide below or the email

prompts you'll be receiving)• Complete the Evaluations that come with each day

To review, the HEAL process happens in 3 Steps:

• STEP ONE: Clear the Emotion that binds you (shame, fear, guilt, or fatigue, or otheremotion that shows up or validating the emotions that show up and need that)

• STEP TWO: Integrate the Love that completes you • STEP THREE: Discover the Real You

Step One uses the clearing meditations to help you begin dislodging old, stuck shame, guilt, fear, and fatigue from your body and mind. Step Two uses the Daily Integrative Meditations to integrate love and bring in comfort, compassion, nurture, and expansion to your emerging Self. Step Three uses the Embodiments to help you discover the Real You. The Embodiment is an experiment you do over the 7-day period for each attribute. You do not need to do the Embodiment Practice all in one day!

The Daily Discovery Practice has you focus on one category of your life each day for clearing. The schedule goes as follows:

• DAY ONE: The Father relationship• DAY TWO: The Mother relationship

This variety gives you deep clearing, and gives you a chance to gauge where to do more work specific to your situation.

Daily Discovery Practice – DAY ONEToday's Clearing Target: Your Father's Treatment regarding Your Existence

Your relationship to your father can impact how you feel about anger, emotional intimacywith other males, how safe and confident you feel in life, as well as impact your sense of security with other men. They are our first model about what masculinity and “being a man” means.

Healthy fathers protect, nurture, play, and promote the confidence and well-being of their children. They provide safe territory to explore the world in, help them face their demons and challenges, and conquer the monsters that come up occasionally in life.

Unhealthy fathers leave us exposed, do not protect or nurture, and tend to be the most physically aggressive and intimidating when abusive. They also may be entirely emotionally detached and avoidant.

COURSE NOTICES:

You can revisit this specific set of clearings AT ANY TIME, so don't worry about getting everything healed right this instant. You will likely revisit most of them at least twice as you work through your past. This is completely normal and expected.

Daily Discovery Practice – DAY TWOToday's Clearing Target: Your Mother's Response to You

Mothers are our first point of connection, intimacy, nurture, and protection in our lives. Healthy mothers are active, attentive, and mindful of their children and their needs. Theyhelp guide the child to understand themselves and become whole individuals that know they have a safe harbor in their mother.

Unhealthy mothers often end up trying to control their children or avoid being highly engaged with them. A mother's neglect and denial of a child's need for connection, protection, affection, and belonging with their mother leaves the child feeling unwanted, injured, and confused about their worth.

Daily Discovery Practice – DAY THREEToday's Clearing Target: Your Peers' and Friends' Response to You

Peers and friends carry a special weight when it comes to how we see ourselves. We are a social species and need one another to thrive. Our needs, wants, thoughts, and feelings are means to connecting and sharing with others. When we grow up feeling excluded, rejected, different, or somehow unwanted or worthless socially, we tend to suffer greatly. Anxiety, depression, a sense of isolation, and a sense of danger tend to become very normal to us.

Today, we begin to clear the pain of rejection, isolation, exclusion and such that may havehappened in your peer and friend relationships. Be gentle and patient with yourself, andtake things at a pace that works for you. Remember: you do not need to go at the pace the course happens at. You know your capability best. Follow it with commitment and care.

Daily Discovery Practice – DAY FOURToday's Clearing Target: Your Lovers'/Significant Others'/Spouses' Response to You

Those people we have love, attachment, and romantic interest with present us with our deepest hopes and often our deepest fears. Often we feel anxious or avoidant when it comes to love and connection with someone we feel special feelings and desires about. Codependency and neglect often have us seeking a sense of closure about our past broken connections through the new ones we're having.

This week, we will begin the process of healing the past betrayals, hurts, and losses that happened to us or that we created by our choices. Go gently into this.

Daily Discovery Practice – DAY FIVEToday's Clearing Target: Your Response to You

How we see ourselves is the first and last limit we put on ourselves. When we begin to value, honor, and cherish our feelings, our BEING, our nature, our existence, we begin to respect it. This means we start to defend it, stand up for it, and even advocate for it. Thisis where natural confidence and boundaries emerge.

Today we will begin to heal your relationship with your existence. Often grief, anger, judgment, and hate are found here. Sometimes we're upset that we exist at all. Sometimes we have seriously painful judgments about how we exist, what our limitationsare, and what we do and do not have.

Healing this will set you free to embrace your natural magic and discover love for yourselfand real love with others without having fix, change, or alter yourself. The goal here is to come to love you as you are.
