• In the space of 8 years, the company moved from disaster to a pre-tax profit of 2.5 billion DM - a feat many would have believed unachievable. The Lufthansa experience has become a famous case study conducted by entities such as the London Business School.

Student TaskTonight, not tomorrow, students write down between 1 and 3 things that they are going to change in order to give themselves the best

chance to achieve their potential at the end of Year 11.

Suggestions• Stay for prep every night from 6pm to 7.30pm• Sit away from friends in all lessons• Spend at least 90 minutes per night on prep.• Make revision notes as an on going process• Write down things you don’t understand and ask

subject teacher to explain it (privately)• Go to www.ucas.com once per week for 30 mins.

Suggestions for Parents• Give lots of feedback – rewards & sanctions• Check exercise books• Check marking• Test students• Equip students well• No holidays Easter 2014 or May half term 2014• Discuss the future regularly; UCAS etc
