Our Aims
In Year 6 we aim to:
> Ensure a smooth transition from Year 5
> Develop greater independence in learning
> Give the children greater responsibility
> Prepare the children for the Year 6 SATs
> Prepare the children for secondary school

Trips and Special EventsIn Year 6 we have a residential trip so we aim
to keep the cost of any extra trips to a minimum.
Year 6 have the opportunity to take part in several other out of school exciting opportunities, such as: Bike ability

How to Support from Home
> Reading> Homework > Breakfast, snack & lunch> Water> Good night’s sleep > PE kit & book bags> Coat> Communication> Parent helper
SATS> This academic year SATs week will take place w/c: 9th May.
> What we do throughout the year will prepare them.
> They don’t need to do lots of revision at home although completing h/w throughout the year and plenty of sleep will benefit them.
> We send off teacher assessments.
