Well hello!....
And thank you for expressing an interest in Microblading.
In this information pack, I am going to share with you all the necessary information you need, to
help clarify what Microblading is and what it could potentially do for you...
...and your brows!
Let me start by introducing myself...
Hi, my name is Hannah (a.k.a. High Brow Beauty) and I am a fully qualified, K.B Pro Brows
Microblading Artist currently based in Launceston, Cornwall.
I specialise in a few beauty treatments, but it has to be said... I am a little bit addicted to Brows!
I can’t help it!... I’m obsessed!!
Brows are a big thing these days... and it is amazing what a
difference a good set of brows can make to your face!
BUT more often than not, most of us haven't got a clue where
to start when it comes to filling them in...
OR how to create the correct brow shape and size to suit
our face...
And, to be perfectly honest... you may well find a lot of Beauty Therapists who haven't done
any up-to-date training, probably haven't got much idea either!!
I've had so many clients come to me who have had 'bad brow experiences' in the past and
understandably, they are often a little nervous when they have their first brow treatment with
me...
But they always leave happy!... and I often receive messages telling me how much they
love their brows and how they can't stop looking at them! lol!
So, what make me so different?... Well, I've trained with the best!
I understand brows. I know what will work with you and your face. And I feel confident that
you will leave my treatment room just as happy as everyone else!
So, how did it all start?
I became interested in brows after volunteering
2014.
Many of the ladies who had lost their brows
be the best way to fill in their brows
And to be perfectly honest, at the time, I didn't feel confident enough to advise, especially
when they had no hair on their brow area
So... I took my first 'big step' and decided to train in
that I could learn all I needed to know about

BUT... if you don't have much brow hair
OR
your brow hair doesn't grow where you need it
then in all honesty, you are NOT
THAT is why Microblading

What is all the excitement about?
More and more people are wanting natural looking, permanent eyebrows that only the art of
Microblading can achieve.
Instead of traditional cosmetic tattoo treatments which uses a machine, Microblading uses a
handheld tool to meticulously create fine hair strokes, one by one, resulting in realistic
looking, semi-permanent brows....
And it takes a well trained technician to achieve this look.
What is K.B Pro Brows?
In short it’s Karen Betts’ latest innovation; a finely tuned Microblading treatment pioneered by
Karen and her Elite Team which uses a specially developed hand tool, referred to as the K.B
Pro hand glider.
The treatment incorporates specialist techniques to enable Karen and her Elite Artists to
create ultra-realistic looking hair strokes for highly defined perfectly shaped
brows.
(If you don't know who Karen Betts is, she of the UK’s leading authorities in permanent makeup
and medical tattooing with over 20 years experience. If you don't know who she is, I would
highly recommend looking her up!)
NOTE: Before booking any form of semi-permanent makeup, I always highly recommended that you do
your research and check the technicians training, qualifications and examples of their work before
proceeding with any treatment.
Is K.B Pro Brows Microblading for you?
K.B Pro Brows Microblading really has no limitations and is suitable for pretty much everyone.
Whether you just want the convenience of permanent makeup to save precious snoozing time
in the morning OR you have hair loss, sparse eyebrows, thinning hair or have over-plucked...
K.B Pro Brows are personalised every time to help you ditch those eyebrow pencils for
good and wake up with perfect eyebrows every day.
Microblading 'Before & After' examples by Hannah
Here's what to expect during your treatment:
1. Consultation
The first part of the process is a consultation. This is normally done as part of your initial
treatment, but it can also be done separately if you would prefer to chat everything through
beforehand.
During your consultation, we will discuss the look you are trying to achieve and what I
might recommend for you. This is very much a two-way conversation. I will listen and I will
help advise.
Once we have an idea of the look you are aiming for, I will start the design process by
drawing on the brow shape with a makeup pencil. These can be drawn on and adjusted 50
times if necessary! (and believe me, I have pretty much done that with a some people!! lol!)
I will NEVER begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy with the drawn design.
2. Treatment
Using a state of the art microblading hand tool, tiny precision hair strokes will be created, one
by one, by hand, to mimic the direction and lengths of your natural brow hair (if you have any).
If you don't have any or much brow hair, a natural looking brow will be designed for you.
Pigments are then implanted into the channels created by the microblade in the dermal layer
of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but you should not feel any discomfort.
To help ease any discomfort, numbing cream will be applied to the brow area before and
during your treatment.
The treatment itself generally takes around 1 hour to
complete and will leave you with instant, highly
defined, ultra-realistic looking brows.
As with any permanent makeup treatment, the brow
area can initially look 40-50% darker than the colour you
have chosen in consultation...
but this will fade within 4-5 days to reveal your
chosen colour.
3. Retouch
A retouch appointment is usually needed 6-12 weeks after your first treatment.
This is usually a 30-60 minute appointment to add more pigment to the brow area.
This is recommended because as the brow area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ the
pigment as well as others and you may have a few patches that need more colour.
This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, you are always
advised to come back for your retouch.

FAQ's:
Q. Do I need to shave off my eyebrows?
A. No. I prefer you to keep your own brows - don't even tweeze them before you come in
as I like to see and work within your natural brow shape if possible.
Q. Can I have my brows waxed, then have a brow treatment?
A. Any waxing should be performed at least 48 hours before the treatment, but it would
be better if you didn't.
Q. Can I tint my brows before my treatment?
A. Any tinting should be performed at least 2 weeks before the treatment.
Q. Will my brows look very dark after the treatment?
A. You should be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly sharper and darker
immediately after the treatment. This will subside and become lighter as the skin heals.
This process can take up to 10 days.
Q. Will my brows look red and swollen after the treatment?
A. Not at all. In fact, no one would even know you have had a treatment done.
So now, you have a choice...
Carry on filling in your uneven, sparse, patchy, over-plucked eyebrows,
hoping that no one will notice how bad they actually are...
OR
Wake up each morning with full, ultra-defined, realistic looking brows that you
can be proud of!
