Promoting the Sanctity of Life from Conception to Natural Death
Dave Thomas sadly passed away in 2002, but his foundation continued to do incredible work in the com-
munity. In 2004, the Dave Thomas Foundation launched its Wendy’s Wonderful Kids initiative, which provides money to full-time professionals who help children find the loving families they deserve. Wendy’s launched an expansion of the program in 2017, and is seeking to find permanent homes for 60,000 children by 2029. Wendy’s new fundraiser with Snapchat is helping the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids initiative reach that goal.
Thanks to help from Wendy’s partners Dr Pepper and Coca-Cola, Wendy’s customers can “Support adoption in a snap” by simply taking a picture with the new fundraiser cups. For each Snapchat story, $5 is donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. It’s an easy way to enjoy your favorite drink while supporting chil-dren in need.
Interestingly, Dave Thomas is exactly the kind of person the abortion industry tells women they need to abort. He was born out of wedlock to parents who did not ex-pect him and could not properly care for him. Thomas’ mother surely faced a great amount of fear and stress. Despite this, she bravely chose life, and through the beautiful gift of adoption, Thomas went on to live a remarkably successful life.
Dave Thomas may not be with us any longer, but his restaurant, his legacy, and his passion for helping children is stronger than ever.

1. We will continue advertising the promotion of personhood and the effects of abortion.
2. Expand our Social Media influence - KW RTL wishes to better engage in developing, presenting, communicat-ing forms of media required to best educate people with Prolife information. We intend to grow our outreach and improve and expand our advertising and video production like the 2019 i.e. Face book advertising, a big suc-cess with over 90,000 impressions, 43,654 reach and 630 Clicks
3. We are making a concerted effort to continue to recruit more members across all age levels.
KW Right to Life continues to work toward promoting a compassionate society that cares about the lives of pre-born babies, their parents and those around the abortion issue. Areas around freedom of con-science and speech are troubling with regard to life issues and the loss of fundamental freedoms of speech, conscience and expression currently being experienced in health care, prolife causes, churches

Last Fall KW Right to Life signed a contract with Grand
River Transit for a series of bus ads for one year like advertised in the Spring News & Views. One of the ads is on page 4 of this issue. i.e. Abortion is linked to …...
After the signs were on the buses for 3 days there was a complaint in regard to the message on the signs. It came from the organization SHORE of Waterloo Region, formerly Planned Parenthood.
The contract was breeched and we were informed by the media and held 4 interviews. Later GRT called to say the ads were removed however no formal reason was given other than the ads didn’t meet SHORE’S standards.
