Reflections on Stewardship

For the month of November, the Stewardship Council would like to recognize Ken & Angela Ledford for their awesome display of stewardship. It is through their efforts of coordination and direction that the parish hall has been renovated. Yes, we had good and faithful volunteers, but it takes people with

strong leadership capabilities, to pull it all together. That is Ken and Angela.

Both Ken and Angela are involved in several ministries within the parish and give of their time and talent gener-

ously. We could probably fill this page with all that they do but we wouldn’t want to embarrass them. Let’s just say, “We are so blessed to have them as

parishioners of Santa Maria del Mar.”

Centering Prayer is a simple method of silent prayer beyond words, thoughts, and emotions that fosters a profound deepening of your relationship with the indwelling presence of God. The intent of CP is not to escape into some private holiness trip, but rather that we might become the fullness of what God intended us to be right where we are in our ordinary lives.

School of Contemplative Prayer

We meet every Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel for Contemplative Prayer. On the first Sunday of each month we meet in the Chapel with Mass. On the last Sunday of

It’s that time of year again! Our Youth Programs will be collecting items to sell in Santa’s Secret Workshop—a store we open annually for parish

children to shop for their families.

Please donate new items (see list below) that our Elves from the North Pole can wrap for our parish children. Our Workshop will work in conjunction with Donut Café during the Sundays in De-
