processofhandwashing.Participantstovoteonwhichmethodiscorrectbyashowofhands. Outline:

1. (5-10Minutes)~WelcomeParticipants:a. Presentersandtranslator’sintroductions.b. Expressthemainpurposeofthetopic.

i. Understandingtheimportanceofhandwashing.Beculturallysensitive/useunderstandablewordswithposters.Germsaresosmallthatyoucannotseethemandtheyarefoundalmosteverywhere.Germscanmakeyousick.Olderstudents–differenttypesofgermscausedbybacteriaandviruses(cold,flu,pneumonia).Bacteriaandvirusesmaycauseillnessanddisease.Washingyourhandscanhelpgetridofgerms,andisthebestwaytohelppreventillnessesanddiseases.

ii. Learnmoreaboutwhenandhowtowashyourhands.Washyourhands:afterusingthetoilet,preparing;touchingoreatingfood;afterplayingwithanimals;aftertouchingmoney;afterplayingoutside;aftercoughing,sneezingorblowingyournose
