    WHEREAS Ge the Metropolitan Water Supply. Sewer-age, and Drainage Act, 1909, it is provided that, subjectto the provisions of the Act, the Minister for WaterSupply, Sewerage, and Drainage shall, with the approvalof the Governor, hicive to construct and extea,lwater works, sewerage works, and storuiwater drainage\vorks: And whereas the preliminary requirements Ofthe said Act have been complied with, and plans, sec-tions, and estimates in respect of the works hereinaftermentioned have been submitted to and approved by theGovernor in Council: Now, therefore, His Excellencythe Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice and consentof the Executive Council, does hereby empower theMinister for Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage toundertake the construction of the following works underthe said Act, namely : -
