The Westervin blog celebrates its 5th birthday in December 2014! After the Westervin shop launched in December 2013, Sarah’s creations have begun to attract interestinterest from customers around the world and from retailers across the US.
Westervin was started in Chicago, currently operates in Arkansas, and will soon relocate to one of the American South’s greatest cities...
Westervin is a lifestyle brand that offers inspiration, information, and products for living a well-crafted life. Through a handmade shop, as well as an established blog and burgeoning consulting service run with my husband, Brian West, we championchampion the thoughtfully hand-made, the locally produced, the independently owned, and the lovingly shared.
The Westervin shop carries hand-made fiber works & wearables. With an eye for unexpected color com-binations, an appreciation for high-quality materials, and a pas-sion for ethically produced goods, each item I make is truly unique and meant to be noticed. All pat-terns and designs are my own, and every item is completely crocheted by hand using a mix of man-made and natural fibers, including wool, cashmere, cotton, acrylic, and nylon yarns. I use salvaged materials (second-hand yarns, vintage but-tons, recycled shipping supplies) when possible.
