Functionality and ErgonomicsThe WEY Smart Touch Keyboard offers almost unlimited functionality and intuitive user interfaces. Due to the modular architecture, the keyboard can be customised to meet individual requirements.

Selecting the active computer is very simple. A single keystroke suffices and the desired source appears on the screen and is placed under the user’s immediate control.

A quick ejection mechanism releases the keyboard from the housing unit and allows for personal keyboards. Thus, multiple operators who work in shifts can sit at the same workplace but still use exclusively their own individual keyboard – a great hygienic benefit. An ergonomic hand rest enhances user comfort.

WEY Technology is committed to the development of environmentally friendly IT solutions. With this in mind, the WEY Smart Touch incorporates light sensors which automatically adjust the brightness of the LCD screen to light conditions in the office. Movement sensors detect the presence of an operator, putting the keyboard into sleep mode when it is unattended, and waking it up again when the user returns to the desk.

The WEY Smart Touch Keyboard supports a wide variety of interfaces (USB, Mini USB, serial, Ethernet with PoE+, etc.). as well as virtually any platform for trading floors and control rooms. Audio signals can be routed to integrated speakers or a headphone set. The look and feel of the user interface can be customised with scripts.
