‘WH’ Questions

What is ‘WH’ question?

We use question words to ask certain types of questions. We often refer to them as WH

words because they include the letters WH (for example WHy, HoW, Where)

When do we use these questions?

These questions are used to gather information Example: What is your name? This question is asked at the beginning of a conversation

when you are meeting someone new. The speaker get their information by asking WH questions. SO how do you know what WH question to use?
