Sometimes, some people tend to procrastinate or notexert effort to do what they want to do or are expected todo. This may be caused bysome reasons, which are discussed in the next slides.

ACCOUNTABILITYTo carry forward an assigned task to a successful conclusion, oneneeds to accept responsibility and be ready to give account ofwhatever he does. 2.FEAR OF EXPECTATIONS
Some people intentionally establish themselves as lazy so as toprevent others from having high expectations for them, and to makepeople plan for them. Such people avoid commitments and remainresponsibility-free, though they pretend to be doing something thatoccupies all their time, so as to make other people take theirresponsibilities on them. Lazy people work to avoid more importantthings.

Many people become despondent and lose courage when they lookat the risks involved in a job because they don't want to losesomething that is of value to them in case they fail. Every rewardingwork/job requires some sacrifices to be made before the rewardcould be gotten — losing something of value in order to getsomething of greater value.

Living with everyday desire for nurture and expectation fromsomebody or the government can make one lose his self will andabilities, and it makes some people lazy. Laziness is the quality of being unwilling to work or make an effortto get things done when a person really has the ability to carry out aparticular task. A lazy person is disinclined to exertion, he neverwants to use his physical or mental effort. Most lazybones, however, do not know/agree that they are lazy while some know butdecide to live a lazy life. Laziness results into idleness; it killsabilities and reduces productivity.Knowing the causes of laziness will help in overcoming it becausethe only way to overcome laziness is to understand its nature andparticularly its causes.I will discuss how to overcome laziness in one of my next articles.
