    To Move the Cursors Programmatically:Programmatically assign values to the cursor using Property Nodes.

    To Customize the Appearance of Each Cursor:In LabVIEW 7.xand earlier, use the Formatting Ringto change the following properties of the cursor:

    Color - change the color of the cursor

    Cursor style - change the appearance of the cursor crosshairs

    Point style - change the cursor point style

    Line style - change the style of the cursor crosshairs

    Line width - change the width of the cursor crosshairs

    Show name - show the name of the cursor on the graph

    Bring to center - bring the cursor to the center of the graph without changing X and Y scale values

    Go to cursor - center the graph around the cursor

    In LabVIEW 8.xand later, right-click the cursor in the cursor legend, select Attributesfrom the shortcut menu,and select the formatting options listed above from the shortcut menu.

    To Customize the Movement of Each Cursor:In LabVIEW 7.xand earlier, use the Lock Ringto change how the cursors will move around the waveformgraph.

    Free - the cursor can be moved anywhere on the graph

    Snap to Point - the cursor will move to the closest point on any of the plots on the waveform graph.

    Lock to Plot - the cursor locks to a particular plot and can only move along this plot

    In LabVIEW 8.xand later, create a cursor by right-clicking anywhere in the cursor legend, selecting CreateCursor, and selecting a cursor mode from the shortcut menu. The cursor includes the following cursor modes:

    Free - Moves the cursor freely within the plot area, regardless of plot positions.

    Single-Plot - Positions the cursor only on the plot that is associated with the cursor. You can move the cursoralong the associated plot. Right-click the cursor legend row and select Snap Tofrom the shortcut menu toassociate one or all plots with the cursor.

    Multi-Plot - Positions the cursor only on a specific data point in the plot area. The multi-plot cursor reportsvalues at the specified x value for all the plots that the cursor is associated with. You can position the cursor onany plot in the plot area. Right-click the cursor legend row and select Snap Tofrom the shortcut menu to

    associate one or all plots with the cursor. This mode is valid only for mixed signal graphs.
