The beginning...

Remember when we said Jesus was also visited by

Darkness? Well it happened. For real. Darkness visited Jesus one gloomy Friday as he was hanging on a cross. This darkness was the scariest, most dreadful darkness anyone had ever faced, for it carried its most powerful weapon:

the sting of death. Anyone would have been defeated if they had faced an enemy like that. Except this wasn’t just any man, this was the God-Man! Not even the greatest powers of darkness can defy him in battle and win. And so, on Sunday morning Jesus came back from battle carrying victory in his hands.

THE LIGHT IS STRONGER

How did JESUS become the DESTROYER

of DARKNESS?

He was alive!

Like the sun shining over the darkest land,

HE had OVERCOME the darkness of the world and even the darkness within our own hearts. The enemy that had haunted men for thousands of

years was finally defeated once and for all.

People across history have called upon Jesus in their darkest moments and have seen him win victory over all their darkest enemies.

He was alive!
