Sudberry Properties will build a bicycle and pedestrian path connecting Civita (Quarry Falls) to Serra Mesa at Phyllis Place

Sudberry Properties will widen Mission Center Road at the top of the hill

Sudberry Properties will widen and improve the I-8/Mission Center Road interchange

WHAT ABOUT EMERGENCY SERVICES?

No matter what, there will be an emergency-only connection at Kaplan Drive

Fire Chief Mainar has said driving to Kaplan Drive would only “add a few more seconds of response time”

WHAT ABOUT THE PARK?

No matter what, there will be a park built in the 6 acres along Phyllis Place, connecting to the 23 acres of open space in Civita.

If the SM Community Plan is amended, that park will be divided by a 4 lane road with 25,800 ADTs.

WHAT WILL CIVITA TRAFFIC BE LIKE WITHOUT A NEW ROAD?

6.9% of the traffic from Civita will come up Mission Center Rd to Serra Mesa

The other 93% of the Civita traffic will stay down in Mission Valley
