The Cordoba Hope Project is a living, breathing, campaign in the Province of Cordoba that provides daily support to needy children and families in the region. The success of this program directly
correlates to our successful dove shooting programs, and we are proud to state that we the only outfitters in Argentina to have built a pure charitable program of this magnitude without regard to branding nor market advantage.
David Denies designed Cordoba Hope because we saw people in need everyday. We saw hungry children, and families that were not getting simple medical care. We wanted local children to have
good schools and safe places to go after school-so we raised the money and built those places. The project started with food from the field and has blossomed into much, much, more—it continues to grow-and it continues to make a difference in people’s lives. Donations of doves from our shooting outings, was one of the cornerstones of the program, and has grown into the purchase of vehicles, the construction of more centers, buildings, and schools, and the funding for regular visits by doctors of many disciplines, and health care actions. Cordoba Hope mirrors the David Denies Bird Hunting philosophy of investing in people, because doing so makes all the difference.
Our commitment to being great corporate citizens centers on six core areas:

• Educational Activities

T he Maria de la Esperanza Mission, located in the San Marcos Sierras
region of Cordoba, Argentina, is a nonprofit organization with a long history of charitable work in remote and vulnerable areas. It includes seven Community Centers where the tireless Sister Theresa and a volunteer staff provide a daily meal to as many as 950 underprivileged local children. David Denies supports the Foundation by providing food, electricity, gas, building supplies, and school materials to each community center.
COMMUNITY CENTERS

Each Community Center provides a place for children to learn and
develop skills via fun, organized daily activities, everything from games and dances to cooking, reading, and recycling classes. David Denies supports the centers' Educational Activities Program by donating supplies and other essentials materials. Teachers give group lessons and provide individual follow-up after each session. Meanwhile, children have the empowering opportunity to broaden their horizons with the new skills they learn along the way. In addition to the busy activities schedule, every year David Denies celebrates both Children’s Day and Christmas with the underprivileged children of northern Cordoba. During the daylong community center events, each child receives a bag of goodies full of new toys. Seeing their smiles is the ultimate reward.

I n 2002, a new initiative of Sister Theresa gave birth to a Mobile
Clinic operated by a team of volunteer health professionals called “Doctors of La Esperanza”. The mobile clinic was created to provide free monthly healthcare services to uninsured people living in the most remote areas of northern Cordoba, and to educate them on disease prevention.David Denies joined the project with an initial investment in technological equipment and with ongoing funding for travel expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and food for doctors and patients.

Groups of volunteers meet once monthly in order to visit one of
several community centers run by the Mission Esperanza Foundation. Here, volunteers lead activities designed to teach and empower the children who frequent the centers. In particular, Solidarity Day missions can range from organized sports activities to lesson plans that include talks on recycling, or importance of good nutrition. We also encourage hands-on group tasks such as planting trees or picking fruit in local orchards. The goal, ultimately, is to make a difference through meaningful interactions. In addition, volunteers help sort through and deliver donations such as children’s clothes, sneakers, books, and toys.
SOLIDARITY DAYS

We also encourage our guests to contribute with donations that
go toward building additional safe havens, where children are fed, receive after school classes, and take part in recreational activities. With donations from visitors such as you, we have contributed large appliances and have built seven Community Centers to teach parents crafts and provide a safe haven for the kids to have their daily meal. If you’d like to visit, please tell your host. Help us give back by contributing with us. Together we can do so much more.

David Denies is assisting a group of northern Cordoba-based women who are collaborating with a recognized local chef to cook and package a selection of protein-rich dishes. David Denies supports the project by
supplying dove meat and other essential ingredients. These meals are also distributed to unprivileged families in the area, helping them maintain a healthy diet via delicious home-cooked foods.
COOKING
WWW.DAVIDDENIES.COM
We are helping sustain local communities with an indigenous superfood. Each month David Denies collects and donates a large percentage of its harvested doves to the Sister Theresa Foundation. The high-protein
meat is then used to create nutritious, delicious meals at regional community centers that cater to both families and children in need. Dove meat acts as an essential superfood when added to a well-balanced diet, and the donations complete the circle of our hunting activities.
