Through the course of this year I have learnt a lot about technology in terms of photography I learnt how to get the correct lighting I learnt about camera angles and the positioning of the model when on my photo shoots. This what very important when trying to find the right images for my front cover, double page spread and contents page.

I also developed skills in Photoshop but not as much as other students this was due to the fact I didn’t want or need to edit my pictures as I wanted my pictures to look natural and real, on the actions I did use Photoshop I used for the making of my text for example as you can see for my title I pushed the letters together using the ----- tool

When creating the masthead for my front cover I used some Photoshop techniques. This included using the type tool and the mask tool I then used the layers to able me to create an article title from main image. I also used the drop down shadow to make the mast head stand out from the background.
