What have you learnt about technologies from the process of

constructing this product?

YouTube• We had used it to listen to music and watch

videos but I had never uploaded films to YouTube before which could be seen by millions of people online all over the world.

• The process of uploading videos to YouTube is easy and simple to understand.

• YouTube is great for aspiring small film makers as its so easy to get things seen by many people.

• We uploaded our preliminary, pitch and our completed film onto YouTube, this taught us the uploading process onto the website.

Blogger• It is a website that is part of Google used to

make public online blogs. We learnt when creating and using our blogs how to upload posts and keep the blogs updated.

• Blogger gave us a chance to be creative in our own work, also a good way to get our work out there online.

• Although when first attempting to use it, it was very difficult and time-consuming but now we know how to use it and have produced work that we wouldn’t of been able to do before.

IMovie

• Imovie is the editing program we used on the Mac computers. We used the program to add special effects and edit our film to reflect our horror genre.

• We taught ourselves how to use the software, it was very difficult at first but once we got the hang of it it was very easy.

• We now know how to edit and add effects to our filming so we picked up valuable skills. Although it also taught us how long the editing process is, and how difficult.

Camera

• We used a Panasonic camera to record our preliminary, pitch and our final film.

• It was very easy and quick to use, not difficult and can be used compatibly with the Macs.

• The camera helped us develop our camera skills and learn about multiple camera tricks, angles and shots.
