Suffering from diabetes means having a high blood sugar! This can cause severe harm to the blood vessels within a period of time. The loss of sensation in the feet can occur due to nerve injury. Even if you get a cut or blister on your foot, you won’t be able to feel it. This might further lead to an infection or an ulcer in your feet.

The good news is that feet problems can be prevented. First, you need to keep your blood glucose in control. Apart from it, good feet care also becomes essential. Here, are some tips to follow for having healthy feet-

Make a practice of examining your feet daily. Wash them regularly. Try to keep the skin smooth. Use a lotion to apply on your skin in order to

prevent dryness. Make sure your toe nails are short. If you
