AVID in a nutshell
• AVID is an in-school academic support program for grades 4-12 that prepares students for college eligibility and success.

• The students primarily use their notes as study guides to help them with their homework, or to remember key concepts from the texts they are studying.
• Notebooks will be checked and graded based on a rubric that students will be given.
