What is flatlock (ISO) 607 stitching? A special Flatlock sewing machine is used to sew flatlock seams. The machine fuses 2 edges of material together creating a smooth, flat seam. Most clothes are sewn with overlock seams. Overlock seams are a cheaper, faster and easier way to sew clothes with but it leaves a bulky uncomfortable seam in your clothes.

Flatlock seam garments are similar to seamless garments. Most of the top brands of sportswear, underwear and outdoor clothing such as Adidas, Nike and Patagonia use flatlock in their garments.

Beta Textiles Co., Limited specializes in the production and exportation of customized flatlock garments to the global market. The company owns one sewing factory with 26 Yamato flatlock sewing machines and is also working with five other contractor sewing factories. In total, the company has access to over 150 flatlock sewing machines for production.
