Where did Get 10 come from?

Get 10 is a original program of the Alabama Department of Public Health. It was created after Hurricane Katrina as a simple program to encourage emergency preparedness.

Get 10 Objectives:1. To raise awareness and utilization of the

Alabama Department of Public Health as an excellent resource for emergency preparedness, response, and recovery information

2. To encourage people to visit our website and use it as a tool to learn more about what ADPH has to offer

3. To increase community involvement in public health

4. To increase knowledge of public health among young people

• Establish relationship with Department of Tourism• Expand promotion of Get 10 for Pets by working with humane
