Medication helps some people, but for others it means excruciating
brain surgeries, inserting shuntswhich often fail and have to be replaced or block causing life
threatening situations.
This shows how Doctors do a Lumbar Puncture. (L.P.)This drains off excess Cerebrospinal fluid, lowering brain pressure. It’s also used to diagnose IH and monitor the pressure too. Some IH patients have to have this done every weekThis procedure carries risks too; meningitis, infections and damage to the back.
