What is MicroGiving?

MicroGiving is…

An online marketplace similar to eBay but instead of buyers and sellers there are Donors and Recipients.

MicroGiving connects Donors and Recipients directly allowing Donors to make a difference with “micro” amounts of money!

“In short, MicroGiving is like “Passing the Virtual Hat” for those in need”

How Does MicroGiving Work?

Recipients join the MicroGiving community, complete a MicroGiving profile, upload photos, create a “request” and send MicroGiving their supporting documents.

MicroGiving reviews Recipient supporting documents and verifies their cause. Once verified, MicroGiving publishes their “Request” with a donate button on the Recipient’s profile.

Donors visit www.MicroGiving.com and either (a) join the MicroGiving community and then make a donation or (b) Browse Recipient profiles in the “Find a Cause” section and then make a direct donation to a cause they care about most!

Recipients

Recipients are defined as Individuals, Families & Small Nonprofit Organizations in need.

Donors

Donors are defined as anyone who has a few dollars to spare. Even as little as $1.

Chris, her new owner, had Bambi 1 week when they noticed something wrong with Bambi and found out her leg was broken.
