Breast screeningIt is a simple, free, quick and painless test.

The breast screening is done by an X-ray test called a mammogram every 2 years to check that your breast is normal.

If you are between 50 years old and 69 years old and you live in Salerno, Benevento and Avellino Health Districts (ASL) and if you are between 45 years old and 69 years old and you live in Naples Health Districts (ASL) and in Caserta Health District (ASL) you will receive an appointment at your nearest health service by personal letter in the letter box.

You can change your appointment at any time by contacting the phone number specified in the letter. If you do not receive the invitation letter, please contact the Screening Service of your area. The result of the screening will be sent to you by your personal letter box. If other tests are required, we will contact you and schedule further examination.

Cervical screening (PAP-TEST/HPV)

It is a simple, free, quick and painless test.

A cervical screening test is a method of checking that the cells of the cervix are normal. The PAP TEST is done on women aged 25 - 34 every 3 years while the HPV TEST is done on women aged 35 - 64 every five years.

You will receive an appointment by personal letter in the letter box. The test is usually done at a Consultorio Familiare (Planned Parenthood Health Service).

You can change your appointment at any time by contacting the phone number specified in the letter.

If you do not receive the invitation letter, please contact the Screening Service of your area.

The result of the screening will be sent to you by your personal letter box. If other tests are required, we will contact you and schedule further examination.

Rectal colon screening (SOF - NOT VISIBLE BLOOD IN THE STOOL)

It is a simple, free, quick and painless test.

This test consists of carrying out a simple examination every 2 years to search for hidden (not visible) blood in the stool.

If you are between 50 years old and 69 years old you will receive a personal letter in the letter box with instructions on how to collect the stool sample, where and how to return it.

If you do not receive the invitation letter, please contact the Screening Service of your area.

The result of the screening will be sent to your personal letter box. If other tests are required, we will contact you and schedule further examination.
