His experience includes senior roles in consulting companies, lead technical specialist at the IFC, senior executive in natural resource companies, and investor in exploration and mining ventures. Through this, he has developed a understanding of the exploration and mining business worldwide.

His core expertise is in global natural resources with a focus on investment, governance, human rights, impact assessment, sustainability, risk management, biodiversity, economic development and communities. Didier provides a rare combination of practical experience on the ground, broad worldwide knowledge of countries and thorough understanding of Good International Industry Practice (GIIP). Additionally, his leadership and communication skills are useful for project management and training.

• Advising on exploration and/or mining projects, including suggesting management arrangements, reviewing legal and financing documentation, assessing technical work, handling the permitting process, as well as gaining the social license to operate.

• HSEC due diligence per IFC PS/EP for investors, financers, and lenders, including Independent Consultant (IESC) roles
