What is the Administration of Justice Program

The Administration of Justice program has been successfully used in the high

school classroom over a period of 35 years.

The material contained in the Administration of Justice Program eliminates the need to purchase eight to ten different textbooks for topics like evidence collection, civil law, criminal law, traffic law enforcement, administrative law, report writing, crime scene investigation, forensic science, forensic toxicology, DNA, computer forensics, patrol procedures, forensic pathology, community relations, traffic control, drugs/alcohol, cyber-crime, organized crime, homeland security, terrorism and more. To purchase a class set of forty textbooks for a course equivalent to what is covered in the Administration of Justice Program would cost in excess of $30,000 and replacement books would be required within a few years for those books that are lost and damaged. Some modules of instruction can be covered in as few as three to four days or take as long as several weeks depending on the topic covered and instructor’s supplemental resources. An average instructional period would include approximately 35-40 minutes of class lecture with the remaining 15 to 20 minutes for completion of opening activities and other instructor related activities such as projects, films, and discussions. Modules include instructor keys for student assignments, opening activities, case studies, and student fill-ins. Modules include word searches, word scrambles and crossword puzzles related to module terminology. Student programmed notes (fill-ins) can be used in conjunction with Power Point Presentations or transparencies that can be produced by the instructor from masters provided as to increase student involvement in the learning process. This program has been designed to provide a variety of instructional tools and ways to deliver information to the student audience. The Administration of Justice Program is designed in a modular format so that they may be taught as separate instructional units allowing instructors the flexibility to design their own program by choosing and sequencing those topic areas that meet their program needs. This is an instructional program that can provide instructional material for over four hundred hours depending on the level of instructor experience and resources available (related training videos, field trips, role play, mock trials, guest speakers, and training equipment). The Administration of Justice Program requires Adobe Acrobat Reader and includes installation procedures to add Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0 if your system does not currently have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed or you wish to upgrade from an earlier version.
