What is the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary
Studies?
Introduction
The Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies (BMS) degree offers students the opportunity to achieve their educational goals with an interdisciplinary degree program. As an individualized, non-traditional program of study, the BMS emphasizes a broad learning experience.

Degree Requirements
120 total credit hours consisting of:42 credit hours General Education Core Curriculum3 Concentrations: 45 credit hours, 15 in each
• 9 of these hours must be upper-division hours• Based on either student interest and/or coursework already
completed• Must have a 2.0 in each concentration
33 credit hours of Electives, 18 of which must be upper-division hours
2.0 cumulative GPA to graduate

Art History, Music Theory, Psychology, Sociology, History, and Chicano Studies.
