Few statistics and numbers The overall statistics from the 2000 Census Bureau

revealed:•The total population of the U.S. is 285,230,516.•The total number of households in the U.S. is

106,741,426.•The total number of unmarried same-sex households

is 601,209.Thus, out of a population of 106,741,426 households,

homosexuals represent 0.42% of those households. That is less than one half of one percent!

National Health and Social Life Survey (NHSLS). The NHSLS found that 2.8% of the male, and 1.4% of the female population identify themselves as gay, lesbian, or bisexual (Laumann, et al., 1994).

The LGBT group makes themselves out to be far larger than they actually are

Is having homosexual tendencies sinful?

We need to be clear on something…

Is someone who struggles with pornography but has set up boundaries and guidelines to

help fight it sinful?

Acting on those desires and wants is where the problem comes in… whether you are acting

physically or mentally on them.

What does the Bible say about homosexual practice?

Leviticus 20:13If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.

extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”

But that’s just mentioned in the OT right? And we are free from that law?

But they will argue with your translation of all these verses

Romans 1:26-28: “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are

contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed

with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in

themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to

do what ought not to be done.”

In addition to the judgment of being given over to their sin, those involved in it also promote it and

condemn others who don't approve of their behavior.

Romans 1:32: ”Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such

things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”

How do they get around these and other issues?

We are going to compare the English King James Bible with the LGBT Queen James Bible

"And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring

them out unto us, that we may know them." (Genesis 19:5, KJV)

"And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may rape and humiliate

them." (Genesis 19:5, QJV)

There is nothing in the original text that says "rape and humiliate." The word often translated as

"rape" in English Bibles is the Hebrew yawdah which means "to know":

So the word "know" is there which can be translated as "rape,“ (not common) but "and

humiliate" is a complete fabrication.

They want to change it from simply “knowing” to “rape” in order to say God is just condemning

group rape, not homosexual practice

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an

abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." (Lev 20:13, KJV)

"If a man also lie with mankind in the temple of Molech, as he lieth with a woman, both of them

have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

(Levi 20:13, QJV)

There is nothing in the text that says "in the temple of Molech."

Molech is mentioned earlier in Lev. 20:2,3,4,5. However, the topic then shifts in Lev. 20:9 where

Moses forbids cursing your mother and father (Lev. 20:9), condemns adultery (Lev. 20:10), lying with

one's father's wife (Lev. 20:11), and lying with one's daughter-in-law (Lev. 20:12). Then after verse 13 it says not to marry a woman and her

mother (Lev. 20:14), to not lie with animals (Lev. 20:15), etc.

If the Gay Bible editors want to borrow a topic from several verses earlier and insert it into only one particular verse, why just that one? Why do the editors of the Queen James Bible feel justified in picking out only a single verse among a host of

sexually descriptive prohibitions and modify only that one verse? Why? It's because that is the verse that disagrees with their pro-homosexual bias, so they

altered it. Perhaps later we might see a pro-bestiality Bible that inserts the words "in the temple of Molech"

into Lev. 20:15, just as the pro-homosexual editors did in verse 13.

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections or even their women did change the

natural use into that which is against nature."(Romans 1:26, KJV)

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections Their women did change their natural

use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, left of the natural use of the woman,

burned in ritual lust, one toward another; (Romans 1:26, QJV)

The QJV editors rewrote what Paul actually said. Notice that "ritual lust" is not there in the Greek. The inclusion of "ritual lust" alters the meaning of the text to get it to say that that homosexuality is bad when it is practiced in some sort of religious ritual, as temple

prostitution. But, this is not what it says.

The original KJV has no occurrence of the word "ritual" in the entire Bible. It occurs in the NKJV in

Deut 23:17; 2 Kings 23:7; Ezek. 20:26; Hos. 4:14. But, none of these are in the New Testament, so there is no justification for changing the text to "ritual lust."

"And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward

another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that

recompense of their error which was meet.” (Romans 1:27, KJV)

"Men with men working that which is pagan and unseemly. For this cause God gave the idolaters up

unto vile affections, receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was

meet." (Romans 1:27, QJV)

They have added the words pagan, idolaters, and vile affections. That is not justified for this text. Those

words are just not there in the Greek.

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators,

nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (1 Cor 6:9, KJV)

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither

fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor morally weak, nor promiscuous, (1 Cor 6:9, QJV)

Let's look at the Greek word that the QJV renders as "morally weak." The Greek is ἀρσενοκοίται,

arsenokoitai. What does it mean?

Arsenokoitais comes from two words, "ársēn (730), a male, and koítē (2845), a bed. A man who lies in bed

with another male, a homosexual"

Again we see an unjustified translation by the LGBT community and their “Bible”

"For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

"For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves, with mankind (text is removed in

QJV) for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is

contrary to sound doctrine." (1 Timothy 1:10, QJV)

Read literally: immoral ones male bed partners man-trappers liars perjurers

The QJV removes "with mankind." Why? Because it implies teaching against homosexuality. The

word in the Greek is: ἀρσενοκοίταις, arsenokoitas. This word occurs only two times in the entire Bible,

here and 1 Cor. 6:9.

"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set

forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." (Jude 1:7, KJV)

καὶ ἀπελθοῦσαι ὀπίσω σαρκὸς ἑτέραςand having gone off after flesh other

The word "other" in Greek is heteros. It means "another of a different kind." This verse alteration is

possibly sound since the context of Sodom and Gomorrah is that the sodomites sought to have

relations with the angels who they thought were men.

Still, the point is that the men Sodom of Sodom and Gomorrah did not know that the men were

angels. They thought they were men and wanted to have homosexual relations with them.

Revelation 21:8“But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the

detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will

be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

What’s the destiny of the sexually immoral?

We say this not as a scare method, but so they will understand why we take this seriously… We don’t

want them to end up in hell

How should the church treat homosexuals?

The church needs to be more strict on sexual immorality

Matthew 18:15-17: “Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between

thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or

three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if

he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.”

We need to not be Christian hypocrite

If we have a huge problem with homosexuals, but no problem with fornicators, we are hypocrites!

Encourage, pray for, and support those who are fighting to live a pure life with

homosexual desires

What about those outside the church?

Love them, tell them the truth of the gospel, but do NOT compromise what the Bible says.

We have to deal with two different aspects of the LGBT movement though, there is a political aspect,

and then an in-church aspect

Sadly, many churches today and major Christian leaders & denominations have accepted homosexual relationships as being okay

There was a documentary on the Methodist church and the attempts of many of their followers

to make homosexuality “not sinful”
