What Does it REALLY Mean to Engage?

Here are 3 easy ways to engage with your

users on social media.

Page 2: What it Really Means to Engage your Customers

1.) Thought Provoking Questions This works on Facebook specifically, but if you were to ask your clients a question: Which came first; the chicken or the egg? This will allow your fans to respond and answer the question. Be sure to keep it relevant to your industry.

Don’t ask about chickens, if you’re a lawyer and don’t ask about spark plugs if you’re a funeral home director.

Keep it consistent to your brand image and relevant to what is currently popular in the news. Consider social media, modern day PR. When something crazy happens, you are likely to know what happens first on social media!

2.) Create a Quiz We have linked up with our good friends over at QZZR to create incredibly easy quizzes for our fans. If you are as addicted to quizzes on BuzzFeed as we are, than this is the site for you. T

he site is so simple to navigate and use. The only information you need to know is how awesome you want your quiz to become. Using a quiz and posting it on your social media, really delivers to your fan base.

3.) Use Twitter Search This is a tactic that simply few are using…FEW! There are a ton of people asking for your business. Let’s use the example a car insurance agent. I challenge you to type in the words “License” in twitter and look at what pops up.

There will be a ton of teenagers that are so excited about how they just got their license and that is where you allow your customer service skills to shine.

4.) RESPOND! This is so simple, when someone

responds to your work on social media…

respond! Be a human and respond. You did the

hard work to post on a consistent basis you

deserve the opportunity to hot one out of the

park!
