About the System

Charles Nelson, a

World War II hero

and hand-to-hand

combat expert,

studied the fighting

habits of street

fighters, muggers, and violent criminals . Mr.

Nelson developed unique self-defense

techniques based on Mongolian Wrestling,

hand-to-hand combat and dirty fighting. The

Nelson System has no wasted movements, just

real street techniques that work when it

matters most.

After 50 years of teaching on the mean streets

of New York, Mr. Nelson personally chose 6th

Degree Black Belt Robert Spiegel to succeed

him. Spiegel has taught the Nelson System to

everyone from business men and women,

parents, and teachers, to military personnel,

Homeland Security, and law enforcement.
