1Open the what3words app
2 Tap ‘Show map’
3Tap the locator needle to find your current area
4 Drag the map to the correct square
5 Record the 3 word address

1Open the what3words app
2 Tap ‘Show compass’
3 Your current 3 word address loca-tion is at the bottom of the screen
4 Record the 3 word address
Even if you do not have a data connection, you can still use what3words

2 Tap ‘Show map’
3Tap the search icon and enter the 3 word address, selecting the cor-rect one
4 At the bottom of the app, tap ‘Directions to pin’, opening in your favourite compatible app

3Tap the search icon and enter the 3 word address, selecting the cor-rect one
4 Follow the compass directions to the 3 word address

Note: you can also open directions in your favourite in-stalled navigation app by tapping the navigation icon in the bottom right-hand corner

1Open the what3words app
2Tap either ‘Show map’ or ‘Show compass’
3Tap the menu icon in the left hand corner and tap ‘Settings’ from the list
4Select the 3 word language of your choice

TIPS FOR USING THE ONLINE MAP
1Hover over the language drop-down menu and click ‘Change 3 words lan-guage’
2 Select your chosen language
3 Click save

1 Use the search bar to find a 3 word address, street address or an area
2 Use the control options on the left-hand side should you need to;
• Pan the map• Access Google StreetView• Zoom in & out• Find your current location• Lock/unlock the pin location

3Switch between Map and Satellite view by clicking the appropriate selection on the right
1 Click the red bar at the bottom of the screen and click ‘Directions to pin’
2 Select which website you’d like to open directions in
Note: you may need to click ‘Allow’ on your inter-net browser location notice

1 You can share in other ways by clicking the red bar and ‘Share pin location’
