The UBEC 1AT valve controller integrates the Unibody Electric Valve with a TankVision® tank level gauge. With the push of a button, the tank fill valve is automated and tank level is maintained at your preprogrammed level. Another push and manual open / close control is re-instated.

Elkhart’s original Unibody Electric Valve and UBEC (Unibody Electric Controller) singlehandedly made electric valves for fire apparatus a proposition that made sense. Finally, reliable electric valves could be employed to create apparatus that worked smarter and did more than those plumbed with antiquated rod- and lever-actuated manual valves. Apparatus builders could place valves where they were easier to maintain and where the

plumbing did not consume valuable compartment space. Valve controls no

longer needed to be located only where a linkage rod could be run but where it

made sense for the operator to work.

The new UBEC 1C takes everything to a whole new level. The buttons are bigger, much bigger — and easier to operate through

gloves. The whole controller though… is small, very small. At under 3" in diameter and ½" thick, the UBEC 1C can be placed almost anywhere. And that is what allows you to have control of any valve, anywhere it makes sense to do so.

Yes, size matters, but not without performance. The UBEC 1C features enhanced programmability, 2-wire networking, universal-supply voltage, preset button, a companion pressure gauge and chrome panel bezel, convenient color-coding and a 10-year warranty.

LighT KiTNothing illuminates the extreme control capabilities of the Sidewinder EXM like this 13,000 lumen LED light kit. Mounted on the Sidewinder EXM monitor, it can be operated and positioned as needed from any EXM control device. By simply moving the Sidewinder EXM monitor, you control the lighting. The patented lamphead reflector from FRC is designed to focus 100% of the light where it is needed. By producing so much light and wasting so little, it’s like getting both a powerful scene light and spot light all in one.

QUiCK ConnECTConnecting and disconnecting monitors quickly is very important for vehicle service on bumper mounts. When Elkhart re-engineered the Sidewinder EXM, a high priority was placed on developing a simple, fast and effective connect/disconnect system. We are pleased to say we succeeded. And there’s no other system like it. It’s incredibly fast. It allows the monitor to stay in its original position and orientation and it requires no tools. Most importantly, for additional safety the release mechanism locks under pressure.
