Builder 2012 Changes

Geomechanics Boundary Conditions Improved support for visualization of geomechanics boundary conditions has been added.

Trajectory Smoothing Builder provides trajectory smoothing functionality. Through this feature you can:

• View problem nodes and resolve highlighted issues with trajectories • Insert and delete trajectory nodes • Eliminate kinks • Interpolate between nodes • Update an existing trajectory with the smoothed version • Export the smoothed trajectory to a Builder-formatted trajectory file for later

FlexWell Manager FlexWell Manager now provides:

• Support for the REPLACE keyword, which allows a given FlexWell to change a PRODUCER well for an INJECTOR well and vice versa. This is supported in the Events table.

• Consistency with the PHWELLBORE model so if an annulus uses a wellbore model, all tubing wells must also use it.

• Support for WP (withdrawal point) through the user interface. If a withdrawal point is present, FlexWells checks that the wellbore model is not used.

Formula Manager A new Formula Manager provides a centralized location for managing formulas.

Import Black Oil PVT Wizard The Import Black Oil PVT wizard now supports multiple PVT regions, and improvements have been made to the user interface.

Node-based Format Builder supports datasets with grids specified in node-based format (using the NODES and BLOCKS keywords). Other corner point grids may be converted to node-based grids.

Formula Manager A new Formula Manager allows you to:

• Create, edit and delete a formula. • View and interact with all formulas from all open files. • Copy a TimeSeries formula within or between Results Graph .ses files. • Repeat a Property versus Time plot that contains a TimeSeries formula. • Repeat a Property versus Distance plot that contains a Spatial-Property
