Key BenefitsEnsure Multi-Tenant Security and Database Scalability Current multi-tenancy capabilities have been extended to include physical data segrega-tion across databases and test processes. Silk Central assists managing application testing for multiple customers by supporting security and access control and simplifying database scaling.

Increase Productivity and UsabilitySilk Central is a centralized hub for planning, run-ning and viewing test results across the full range of configurations. Silk Central 17.0 introduces UI productivity enhancements, including a new, centralized environment for creating and man-aging test instances and related components. Additional capabilities simplify requirements, test, and execution planning with full keyboard sup-port, drag and drop assignments and more.

New FeaturesIncreased Data Security, Enhanced Stability and Scalability Instances enhances data security, stability and scalability by physically separating data from processes. An Instance is an independent set of Silk Central services, namely Application Server, Front-end Server and Chart Server, along with their own database and execution server connections.

Instances represent a consistent extension to Silk Central’s multi-tenancy capabilities via Clients. While Clients are a logical segregation of data within a single database, Instances now physically separates data across databases and processes to meet customers’ strict security and access requirements.

What’s New in Silk Central 17.0? Micro Focus® Silk Central™ is our premier test management tool, an innovative, open solution that aids collaboration and supports control for all testing related activities.
