The purpose of this magazine is to provide you with specialized information from a unique community; dedicated to and built upon the Love and Light of Michael Jackson.

We bring you this material by way of the count-less groups and projects created because of Mi-chael Jackson.

This magazine will be dedicated to those pro-jects with undertakings that build up the commu-nity; and actually possess the healing and light properties needed to help change a world filled with darkness and a community that has be-come infested with it.

We wish to provide the Community Trunk, the new body of Michael Jackson, with information about new and delightful support projects. There has been too much “Junk” attached to his trunk and it is time we start anew by peeling away the old and rotted garbage from his amazing trunk, his community.

We hope you will be a part of the solution and not the rubbish.

There should be no room for old junk in a new trunk. Michael is a new creature in Christ Jesus. All the old has passed away and behold, all things have become new.

We wish to be an avenue to the beautiful things going forward; and share those things in this

magazine once a month. We want to appeal to the rooted fans as well as the innovative.

Don’t put JUNK in your new TRUNK. It devalues your new found treasure.

FEATURED FAN ART

M y name is Alena

Galayko and I'm

31 years old full-time

artist. I live in Mos-

cow, Russia. I started

to draw in childhood,

but my deep interest

in painting started with

my love and sympathy

for Michael Jackson.

He inspired me to paint his portraits and portraits of people in

general. Since then I’m improving my skills. Drawing was only

a hobby for me, until I fell in love with Michael, that’s when I

began to draw his portraits. His identity and image inspired me,

and keep on inspiring to this day. I’ve dabbled in other spheres

of activity, but in some moment I realized that the painting and

art – is what I would like to dedicate all my time, and in what I

would like to be developed

and improved.

F or the first time I saw Mi-

chael on TV when I was

only 5 years old, this was

“Thriller”. It’s scared me a lot,

in fact it was the first horror

movie I saw in my life. And

that produced a strong impres-

sion on me. Later i saw a lot of

Michael’s short films on TV

such as “JAM”, “In the Closet”,

“Remember the Time”, con-

certs, where he does his famous “moonwalk”. At the time I

thought he was just a Dancer. And only later I realized that he

was a singer, composer, and most importantly, incredibly kind

and sympathetic man, in one word philanthropist. I became a

fan in 1995, when his “History album was released , in some

sense, my own history began right then, the formation of me as

a person. Michael attracted me by his grace and plasticity in

the dance, his soul-

ful voice and lyrics

with incredibly deep

meaning. As I

learned more about

him, about his

worldview, and

goals in life, the

more he attracted

me, like a magnet. I

was filled with an

overwhelming desire to become closer to him in his actions,

thoughts. In fact, Michael became for me the kind of a father

that I’ve never had, and whom I took as an example.

F or me Michael – a close person, as strange as it may

sound. We never met, never talked, but for many years I

felt some connection with him, which i can’t explain in words. I

think that many of his fans will understand and support me

about this. For me he will always be a Teacher of life, he

taught me to be a positive per-

son, never give up, improve

yourself, always go to your

goal, and most importantly to

help those who need help. He

taught to believe in good and

never lose faith. Michael gave

me a push in life, gave an un-

derstanding that if you want

something, then you need to be

sure to go to this goal, and

you’ll succeed.

I also paint the other celebrities, but don’t feel the same affec-

tion, that I feel toward Michael. Of course, I like all the celebri-

ties, which I draw. I put my soul into my paintings, I need to feel

the positive energy that comes from a person, so I paint mainly

those people who are interesting and attractive to me

FEATURED FAN ART

I paint in oil on canvas , pencil , watercolor, acrylic ... Alt-

hough I think that art has no specific boundaries , and

constantly trying something

new. Most of all I like to

paint in watercolors, and

many people say that I paint

the eyes most realistic and

life-like, that I can display

the mood or inner emotions.

I think it's because I draw

from the heart, with love,

and I see something special

in each person I draw. And

this is what Michael always

taught us about, to work

with love and dedication, only then you can create something

special . Through my paintings I try to convey my love for

Michael to the people, so he will be always remembered and

respected.

Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days

Hounded by the tabloid media, driven from his self-made sanctuary at Neverland, Michael Jackson spent his final years moving from city to city, living with his three children in virtual seclusion—a futile attempt to escape a world that wouldn’t leave him alone. During that time, two men served as the singer’s personal secu-rity team: Bill Whitfield, a former cop and veteran of the security profession, and Javon Beard, a brash, untested rookie, both single fathers themselves. Stationed at his side nearly 24/7, their job was to see and hear everything that transpired, and to keep everyone else out, making them the only two men who know what 60 million fans around the world still want to know: What really hap-pened to the King of Pop?

I n November 2013 an article published by "Healthy Maga-zine" suddenly popped up in the Michael Jackson com-

munity. It was just a sneak peek. The whole article was released only through hard copy. Many of us went immediately into "search mode" in order to obtain

information on how to buy a copy since the magazine was distributed and sold exclusively in the North U.S.A. Then, after a short while, the complete article appeared on the web. The title was astonishing "Michael Jackson. Did He Need To Die?" and the content even more so, to the great satisfaction of our MJ community. Under the pretext of talking about health, the writer made an impartial and stunning examination of MJ as a person, debasing the Media who cannibalized him in the name of ratings. Frankly speaking, it was one of those rare articles that, without beating about the bush, put the media in its place, for their misconduct towards MJ, and also captureded aspects of MJ generally ignored. In short, it was a really nice job and definitely a surprising audience, considering we are talking of a monthly “niche” magazine with global readers including

about 5 million MJ fans.

A smart marketing move that surely resulted in a surge of online contacts and sales all thanks to this article!

Deserved I may add.

A nd it did not stop there. Last month's magazine issue had a new article titled "Michael and Salieri". There

was a small preamble at the beginning of the article to stay on the topic of health. Although, to me it sounded pretty off topic, I enjoyed reading it. I found the comparison with "Salieri" and the paradoxical style used, summed up the result of years of scandals and bad publicity built up by the

international press at the expense of MJ, undoubtedly an intelligent and unconventional choice.

"Would you like a 40-year-old neighbor who works on a tree, dances like a dough mixer, screams like a mon-ster, looks like a ghost, can suddenly start walking backwards, plays with minors and snakes and is visited by buses of poor and terminally ill children with their families, riding with them on his own carousel and train in his backyard?"

I s this not what the collective imagination has picked up about Michael Jackson during 20 plus years of tabloid

“breaking news"? Is this not the message that Michael's short film "Ghost" contains, evidencing that what was hap-pening to his image was very clear to him?

C ontrary to my opinion, other fans did not take this article well, interpreting the contents as an article done by

someone who had not checked the facts and just assem-bled a few popular "truths" to take the opportunity to slander MJ's name once again. In synthesis, it was another attempt to use MJ's image for purely commercial purposes and in-creased revenues.

I understand ... this is not an easy article to read: it's articulated and extremely sophisticated. But definitely

worth maybe reading it a few times more just to be aware about the society around us....why not give it a try before discarding and assuming it's not good enough for you and MJ? As the writer points out, in the drama "Mozart and Salieri" written by Alexander Pushkin, the opera by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and also in the film “Amadeus” by Miloš

Forman, Salieri was an obsessed tormentor who drove Mo-zart to an early grave by poisoning him and convincing the Roman Emperor that his music was worthless. That’s just the beauty of the comparison! Despite the fame, many as-pects of the life of the great Mozart remain unknown, in part because of the extremely private nature of the musician, in part because of the flowering of legends and rumors which arose about him, making it difficult for biographers to ex-trapolate the truth from the lies in order to reconstruct his real human and moral physiognomy.

“SHOUT IT OUT” Reflection on Aida Poulsen article " Michael & Salieri"

does the parallel fit ? By Corinne Montorfani

9 9

H owever, recent studies and more detailed analysis of documentation allowed biographers to debunk two

clichés that, for a couple of centuries, have weighed on the figure of Mozart: the rivalry with Salieri and the death by poisoning, alleged facts that were closely related and actually have never even existed!

A s the writer points out, in the drama "Mozart and Salieri" Salieri was an Italian musician appreciated by

the Viennese court, where he lived for most of his life and where he held the role of composer and choirmaster. Ac-cording to a tradition originating from rumors created by his contemporaries, Salieri was terribly envious of the unparalleled genius of the young Mozart, gradually poi-soning him, causing Mozart's premature death. To be precise, in fact, between the two there were cordial contacts and mutual esteem. This was perhaps only a façade, but no improprieties have ever been documented. Mozart died at the age of 36 but it is not entirely true that his death took the people by surprise: his wife, the family and the small circle of friends who assisted him until the end, had long been concerned about the health conditions of the young musician. Do you not think the analogy is pretty accurate if compared to the lies spread and still rampant about Michael Jackson? That's why the paradox "Michael and Salieri" works. This DRAMA is based on rumors with no foundation. Salieri in this case represents the lies, the media, the various “Sneddon’s”

that brought MJ to his early grave.

W e should ALL support these kind of articles so there can be more articles about the truth, not lies or tab-

loids with invented stories. The MJ community should help those rare journalists and volunteer in delivering cor-rect information and facts, keeping in mind that MJ was a wonderful human being and his soul was an exquisitely

loving example of what a human being could and should be. Although explaining is not hard, it is extremely difficult to make a change in the opinions of the misinformed who refuse to take off the blinders, and drive them to under-stand the BIG mistake and how Michael Jackson “the human being“ has been hurt throughout most of his life! As Poli Bruckner, founder of “Michael's Soldiers of Love” said: "It’s of essential importance that we support each

other in our efforts. It shows respect & unity.

R espect is earned by our actions! Be aware, be more thoughtful. Togeth-

er in unity we can make a change!" Nothing in the world is more danger-ous than sincere ignorance and con-scientious stupidity. “Martin Luther King, Jr.” Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. “Nelson Mandela”

A s a conclusion to the article, the writ-er, Aida Poulsen entered a break-

down of her personal views on some of the controversies surrounding Michael Jackson. I like that she did. It clearly indicates that independently from the smart marketing move, she has written all the above not to please the fans but to voice her beliefs. I do not agree with all her views but I respect her opinions, especially because some are speculations that will remain open for discussion for at least the next 100 years!

T hus, I would like to offer Mrs. Poulsen some "food for thought", (maybe for some additional "honest" journal-

ism.) Without doubt I will read her next piece "MJMatrix: Life In Facts”, hoping for some answers to my questions/

comments related to her opinions on Michael Jackson controversies:

Homosexual

A. Poulsen: NO, asexual and none of my business

MJ fan: I would have appreciated just "it's none of my business". There is no evidence of it. The reality is that he fathered 3 children and for me this is fact (unless DNA will prove to the contrary)

MJ fan 2: “If you says asexual, then can you explain

why? Is he different from other humans? And... have you seen him dance?!! Damn!”

Does it mean molested children?

A. Poulsen: NO

MJ fan: Agreed

Angel

A. Poulenc: NO

MJ fan: I agree but not everyone would one this

Skillful businessman

A. Poulenc: NO

MJ fan: I would love to discuss this in order to see where this opinion came from. We have seen plenty of successful business achievements by MJ, even outside the music business, and evidence of his in-volvement behind the scenes in IT and technologically successful projects.

Reckless prodigal

A. Poulenc: YES

MJ fan: Agreed

Humble

A. Poulenc: NO and YES

MJ fan: I understand what do you mean but we have a good amount of testimonies from people who have worked with him or spent a certain amount of time with him, declaring that MJ was one of the most hum-ble men in the world. It is also easy to document. So .. Humble? Why No?

Manipulative

A. Poulenc: YES, but not much beyond survival needs

MJ fan: Would you please elaborate on this?

Ran sophisticated PR, fascinating with eccentricities

A. Poulenc: YES and NO

MJ fan : Agreed

Media victim

A. Poulenc: YES

MJ fan: Agreed

Profited from media frenzy

A. Poulenc: YES

MJ fan: Agreed

Medication junkie

A. Poulenc: not so easy: there are doubts about us-ing anesthetics for pleasure and no doubts of severe insomnia

MJ fan: Are the doubts based on MJ's use or on the use of prescription drugs in general? The comment sounds like you are saying there are doubts about MJ. I would like this to be clarified.

Used recreational drugs

A. Poulenc: NO except some marijuana in later years

MJ Fan: Why not say "NO" PERIOD? This is something he never said. This has never EVER even surfaced in tabloids and related “scam” news. It has just been mentioned in

a book of a so called friend, and only after his demise, making it impossible to hear his version. Truth is, some weed had been found stashed in his place. But we also know that it was “rotten” ;) So ..I do not see

him having such a strong interest for it to be taken into notice in his biography.

Was increasingly dependent on meds since first accusation in 1993

A. Poulenc: YES

MJ fan: Agreed but as per many of his health records disclosed during the AEG trial, we can conclude that increases happened during Lupus flarings, injuries (bridge collapse) and other such instances.

11 11

Marriage to Presley true

A. Poulenc: YES

MJ fan: Agreed

Marriage to Rowe true

A. Poulenc : NO

MJ fan: Here we have all kinds of beliefs so I will say mine: If the first marriage was real why not this one? Unless we go into a useless conversa-tion about love, which would be hypocritical and out of place, the fact is that, like it or not, marriage is a legal contract, and may have nothing to do with love.

Forgave his father for abuse

A. Poulenc: NO, despite trying and many professions of such

MJ Fan: Did not forgive Joe? Why not? We have several declarations from MJ himself where he mentions his father as being a genius and admits that if it was not for Joe he may have ended up driving a truck around Indiana. So..why not be-lieve what the man directly said?

Good father

A. Poulenc: better than many

MJ fan: Agreed

Went too far with plastic surgeries

A. Poulenc: was it different from everything else?

MJ Fan: This is confusing. Why do you say “everything“instead of “everyone“else? What do you mean by

"everything"?

Was threatened?

A. Poulenc: YES, by himself 25 years ago

MJ Fan: Would you please explain this? How did he threaten himself 25 years ago? 25 years be-fore 2009 was exactly when he had the Pepsi accident. Exactly 25 years before he died.

Responsible for his death

A. Poulenc: YES but shares this one with us, paying for his media bullying

MJ Fan: How is he responsible for his death? Most of the people will say: absolutely NO.

Killed by Conrad Murray

A. Poulenc: NO

MJ fan: Totally disagree with this. Murray was convicted and sentenced. MJ had so much propofol in his body, enough to kill an elephant, and in no way did he self-administer...If not Mur-ray, who killed him then? I would appreciate if you share your opinion or source with us :)

Murray guilty of negligence

A. Poulenc: YES

MJ fan: Agreed

“This Is It” would have been a disaster

A. Poulenc: YES

MJ fan: I do not agree and in any case it is food for speculation, due to the fact that, unfortunately, TII did not happened. Actually this is my personal opinion. I know some fans feel the same but not everybody. If MJ would have done these shows it would have been wonderful. He just needed to show up and say "Hi" to make the world stand on its feet ...just show up!

SPECIAL FAN TRIBUTES

THESE ARE MY WORDS FROM HIS STORY...

O ut of the mouths of babes... Jermaine 8 and

Michael barely 4 were watching out the window

in their tiny little house in Gary, Indiana, at Christmas

time. All the kids riding their new bikes, playing with

their new toys, pulling new sleds, while Michael and

Jermaine watched snowflakes tumble to the ground

and dissolve.

T hey would track these flakes for hours and count

them as they fell. Jermaine said as they did this

that Michael looked so sad watching all the other

kids playing with their new toys. So to cheer up his

little brother, Jermaine started to sing Jingle Bells

and Michael joined in. Jermaine realized at that time

how happy Michael became and noticed that

Michael's voice was "Angelic". Little did they know at

that time that singing would be their profession.

I can reflect back on my own childhood when all I

got for Christmas was a hair brush and others

were opening their presents and getting things like

dolls, money, clothes, sweaters etc. I relate to

Michael's sadness at that time of year when good

cheer was abundant to others but not me. Michael

and Jermaine sang songs...I helped others open

their presents and cheered at what they got.

Story to be continued.....

SPECIAL FAN TRIBUTE SUNFLOWERS FOR MICHAEL—1st Michael Jackson Statue in China

F or Huang Zhenhui and his team, a Michael Jackson statue

is a dream come true.

A nd in recognition of this,

these Guangzhou-based

fans of the late "king of pop"

received a letter from his

youngest brother Randy Jack-

son.

"We're proud of you as fans

for recognizing his (Michael's)

true gifts and talents as an

entertainer and a humanitari-

an."

“The dedication of a statue in Michael's honor is a true manifes-

tation of your steadfast love, devotion and support, (and) for this

we're humbly grateful," it reads.

T he statue is a 2.3-meter high bronze in Guangzhou Sculp-

ture Park, Guangdong province. Jackson's letter forms the

inscription on its base.

S tanding next to

those of numer-

ous historical

figures and VIPs, the

statue shows Jackson

with his arms extend-

ed.

H uang, a 33-year-

old event plan-

ner, fell for the Jack-

son magic in 1991.

After the star's death

in June 2009, he

organized several

memorial activities in

the city. It was during

a regular meeting

with friends, mostly Jackson fans, in May 2010, at a bar near the

sculpture park, that Huang came up with his idea of having a

statue of Jackson in the park.

H e recalls how his friends laughed at him then, pointing out

the incongruity of having a popular foreign star featured in

the largest sculpture park of the country.

"Even Elvis Presley hasn't been treated with that honor," they

told him.

B ut one of them did let on that she knew artists at the

Guangzhou Sculpture Institute. Huang tracked down Lu

Zengkang, a sculptor with access to the park's officials, and told

him of his interest.

H uang was clear from

the beginning that the

statue should be

available for public view-

ing.

"We want to share Jack-

son's artistic achievements

and charitable nature with

whoever looks at it," he

told Lu.

H uang was soon joined

by 14 of his friends.

While they had secured a

place for, and a creator of, the statue, they still had to arrange

the funding.

H uang turned to online fan forum of Michael Jackson

Chinese Fanclub (MJJCN.com) to raise the required

158,000 yuan ($24,031). The team invited donations from fans

nationwide and even launched an auction of Jackson collecti-

bles, from some 350 fans.

B ut as Huang inched closer to realizing his dream, he found

himself facing criticisms for wasting money.

H is critics said the money could be put to better use and

given to needy kids. But Huang carried on and finally won

them over.

O n the day of the statue's unveiling in January, Jackson's

former partner and musician, Howard McCrary, arrived

from the United States and gave a performance for the 600 fans

present.

T he statue conveys a message of love, peace and tolerance,

says its sculptor Lu.

A LOVE AFFAIR FOR ALL TIME

F ans around the world have fallen in love with Michael Jackson’s multilayered talents and character and humanity. We are

drawn to a life lived with the intention to heal the planet with unconditional love. Our souls have been awakened like nev-

er before. It is not a passive kind of love. We are actively loving. And, that love transfers its energy to a world greatly in need.

I ’m only human

Michael Jackson | Will You Be There Live in Bucharest

T he depth of being in love is carried in Michael’s words. An unbreakable bond has been formed. Millions of hands join

together and stretch the length and width of this planet in his name.

Hold me like the river Jordan

And I will then say to thee

You are my friend

Carry me like you are my brother

Love me like a mother

Will you be there?

When weary tell me will you hold

me?

When wrong will you mold me?

When lost will you find me?

But they told me a man should

be faithful

And walk when unable

And fight till the end

But I’m only human

Everyone’s trying to control me

Seems that the world’s got a

role for me

I’m so confused

Will you show to me

You’ll be there for me

And care enough to bear me?

Hold me, show me

Lay your head lowly

Gently and boldly

Carry me there

W hite roses represent innocence, purity, a symbol of honor and reverence. White rose arrangements are also often used as

an expression of remembrance.

W hite roses can mean many things to many different people. They can symbolize new beginnings, or be a sign of farewell.

They can convey feelings of love, friendship, respect and hope. Underlying all of these messages is the impression of innocence and purity with which white roses are now synonymous. An arrange-ment of white roses is not only beautiful; it can carry a complexity that belies its simpler appearance.

T he color white has always been synonymous with purity and virtue. And so, sincerity, purity, and chastity are some of the

obvious meanings of a white rose.

W hite has ever been a symbol of innocence, of a world un-spoiled and untarnished. The meaning of a bunch of glowing

white roses is innocence and spiritual love. The white rose glorifies a love that is unaware of the temptations of the flesh and resides only in the soul. As opposed to the red rose that speaks of passion-ate promises, the meaning of a white rose is in its simplicity and pristine purity.

T hough not perfect Michael Jackson was one pure of heart, un-spoiled, innocent and bonded to many by way of his spiritual

LOVE. I don’t think many would argue that giving a white rose in remembrance of Michael would be inappropriate but more ideal.

O ur Mission to Help Children: AdLLaw (Cadeflaw) has set a goal of assisting the many chil-

dren in the United States and abroad who do not have food, shelter, clothing or other essential needs because they live in or near the poverty level. Our goal is to make a positive difference in these children’s lives by giving financial support towards their needs, on a global scale.

F rom the heart of Sharon Kendrick comes forth the revelation for the “One White Rose for Michael”. While we so admire the many

tributes for Michael, we can’t disregard his LOVE for the children. Michael asked us to remember the children and our mission is to do just that. While we always want flowers to be placed around Michael’s resting place, we want to show “Honor and Respect” to his memory by remembering the children first.

T his second year of the "OneWhiteRoseForMichael" campaign we'd like to place another white rose arrangement in remem-

brance of Michael at Forest Lawn. For every donation given to the “Frankie Woods McCullough Girl's’ Academy”, or to one of the other organizations on our sponsorship list, we will purchase and add one white rose to an arrangement from YOU. Of course the donation would have to be enough to purchase the rose. The remainder of the donation would go to the FWMGA or again to one of the other organizations of your choice on our list.

22 22

CHILDREN PROJECTS

F or example if YOU give a $20 donation a portion of that would be used to purchase one rose to add to the ar-

rangement from YOU and the remainder to one of the AdLLaw (Cadeflaw) organizations on the sponsorship list . How cool is that? Look at what’s being accomplished: • Children get the full benefit of the donation • Michael Jackson's Humanitarian Efforts Live on through us and • We remember Michael with "OneWhiteRose" on his birthday How does the donation work? For example: Your Total Donation = $20.00 Cost for YOUR one rose = $5.00 (cost of one white rose @ FL in 2013) YOUR Donation to FWMGA = $15.00 Or donation to other organization of your choice = $15.00

W e believe this is something Michael would appreciate and we know the children would keep this in their hearts

for a lifetime.

P lease consider joining us, this year and every year, as we continue in this wonderful undertaking. We’re sure that

you’ll be pleased with the end result. Thank you so much. DISPELLING MYTHS & RUMORS

ADVOCACY / VINDICATION

L ike for many in the MJ community, June 25th, 2009, was a turning point in my life. This date marked the beginning

of a journey for me that continues until the present day. Be-fore his death I liked Michael’s music, but I was not a fan and I didn't care about him as a person. But since that fateful day I definitely became a strong supporter and advocate for him, because all my studies during these more than 4 years con-vinced me that this man needs committed advocates who are able and willing to stand up for him in a reasonable manner, to fight for truth, to correct his wrong image, to silence those who told and still tell lies about him and to show the public

what a wonderful, honest and innocent human being he was.

I don't know until today what exactly it was that shook me up, that got me to start reading and studying everything I

could find about him. I just felt a necessity to do it and a deep sadness. It was a very spiritual experience, as if something pulled me into this avalanche of information and guided me through the thicket; as if a divine force gave me instructions where to go to find the truth. And at the same time my eyes about the media were opened, about their lies, their manipu-lations. I realized the witch-hunt Michael was exposed to and

cried for days.

I t was a mixture of strong feelings and common sense that ended in the deep conviction that what happened to Mi-

chael Jackson and how he was treated by the media and the public was something very sinister. I felt his human rights were violated, and I felt God wanted to show us how to prove

it and what we can learn from this.

A fter two years I had so much information that my head began to burst. I needed to find a way to cope with it, to

get some structure into my head and to digest everything. My biggest wish became to apologize to Michael for my former indifference, for not being on his side when he needed mil-lions of people all around the world to stand up for him. But it

was too late. So what else could I do?

I sat there on the second anniversary of Michael's death, pondering, and suddenly knew that I have to write it down.

The whole summer and fall of 2011 I used every free minute to write. I spent much time outside - when the weather was good - in the woods, on the mountains, on rocks and mead-ows, even on trees sometimes (I am really a nature freak), to rethink and reevaluate these two years and to summarize and write down everything I found out. Nature inspires me and I felt the best connection to my task and the universe when I sat on a bench at the wood side with a great view at

our Swabian Jura and heard the birds sing.

I t took me some more time until February 2012 to finish my writings and to structure it, but in the end I had written a

small book of 128 pages with summaries of the most important facts and misconceptions about Michael, about the

media brainwash, about false allegations, about key persons in Michael's life and their negative or positive roles, about Michael's true nature as well as the learning effects for myself from this research. I did it first and foremost for myself to get my head and my spirit cleared, but then I thought all this work must have a

bigger sense and it would be a good idea to have it printed and give it to people who need to know the truth about Michael. I couldn't accept the brainwash of the media any longer. So I printed 30 copies of it in a copy shop at my own expense and gave them away to friends and relatives.

My Journey As An MJ Advocate - Susanne Baur

25

ADVOCACY / VINDICATION

MY JOURNEY AS AN MJ ADVOCATE - CONTINUED

B ut what then happened I never planned and imagined: A few new MJ friends I had also given the book

spread word of it on Facebook among German fans - and suddenly I received dozens of requests for the book. I had to print more and fans were willing to pay for it. So since February 2012 I had to commission more and more print jobs and many fans are using the book now to inform their friends and family members about facts they don't find in the media about Michael, and it's a great satisfaction for me that I could contribute to Michael's vindication in this

way.

M ichael's vindication became my main mission. I be-came a diligent reader of all the blogs that were cre-

ated in late 2009 in support of Michael. Great writers like Raven, Seven, Debbie or Helena started to research and

spread the truth. The whole fan community exploded into an outburst of indignation and re-sistance, unwilling to accept the way Michael was treated in life and death. It felt almost like an underground movement. I don't want to miss this time and I learned a lot for my life, though it sadly based on Michael's death. We all never would have had these experiences without this tragic end of Michael's life.

So in death he gifted us with the most powerful and pre-cious experiences of our lives, with friendships and world-wide connections, even international cooperation. True

miracles happened.

I became a close friend of Helena and I support her with her Vindicatemj blog as much as I can, we are definitely

soul mates. But this is Michael's work. He showed us the way how to unite and get together for a common purpose, to forget about barriers of all kinds and to embrace the message he was chosen to bring to us. Exactly the mes-sage Mary was talking about in the first issue of the maga-

zine.

N ot everything remained this way, though, there are big rifts in the fan base meanwhile. It's true what Mary

said: Many are called, but only few are chosen, and not all understand the message. To be sure, we shouldn’t be re-strained and humble when action is needed to stand up for Michael against the liars, but what we urgently need is more respect, hum-bleness, decency, self-restraint, sensitivity and empathy in the treatment of each oth-er. We could be exam-ples for the society who lost so much of

these values. This is part of the message.

N evertheless, there are still many wonderful activities going on and I see Michael's spirit alive among us.

Let's hope that this spirit prevails and that we can continue in our mutual efforts to vindicate Michael, to live his hu-manitarian messages and to celebrate his art and his true

nature - with the help of God.

THE TWO

MEN BEHIND

Ra Shawn Da-

Mickey “Motown” Shadd

If you ask Ra Shawn Da-Professor Chisolm from New York and

Mickey “Motown” Shadd from Detroit about the “Time” make no

mistake, they’ll tell you it’s “Time For Joe Jackson To Be Honored”.

One-hundred and fifty-five other fans will agree with them. Counting

Ra Shawn and Mickey there are one-hundred and fifty-seven Jack-

son family supporters that make up this group.

Try removing Joe and Katherine Jackson from the equation and you

have no Jacksons, Jack-

son5, Michael Jackson -

KOP, Janet, Reebie,

LaToya, 3T, Dealz, MJ3 or

the other grandchildren. It

is past time to give Mr.

Jackson the “Props” he so

rightly deserve. As special

as the Jackson children and

grandchildren may be we

would have no knowledge of them if it wasn’t for the Patriarch and

Matriarch Jackson’s, Joe and Katherine.

Ra Shawn, creator of the group, and Mickey, his trusted assistant,

run a very tight and squared away ship in this group. If you can’t

post anything positive about Joe Jackson or any member of his

family you can’t post anything. Joe Jackson is the main focus in this

group. As much as these two men love and admire the Jackson

family “Joe Jackson” is the King of “TIME FOR JOE JACKSON TO

BE HONORED”. Right on Ra Shawn and Mickey. I love it and tip my

hat to these two gentlemen. It is evident by both men's Facebook

pages that they are very knowledgeable when it comes to the leg-

ends who make up “Motown”. Ra Shawn and Mickey aren’t the kind

of fans who are a part of vindication or some of the other MJ ven-

tures. They don’t post or allow anyone else to post negative stories

about Michael or any of the other Jacksons. What they do promote

is Joe Jackson with his children. If members post photos of other

Jackson members you can bet Joe Jackson is in those photos. Ra

Shawn’s description of Joe Jackson and rules for his group:

27

Former Boxer/Guitarist Joseph Jackson had always wanted to live

a great life, and while he didn't become a famous boxer or guitarist,

he became one of music industries most famous and underrated

father's musical managers of all time. He managed The Jackson

5ive and his daughter's careers. Since the late 1980's, Joseph has

gotten a bad rap for being a guy who drove his kids to fame. While

many of his kids have different views of their father's ways, they all

credit him for training them, helping them to become successful,

helping to keep them from joining gangs, becoming street hustlers

and teenage parents. All of his kids love him and while he no longer

manages them, they still go to him for advice and it's time for Jo-

seph Walter Jackson to be honored.

This group is to honor his work, legacy and love for his chil-

dren. No shade will be tolerated in this group. There are many

who have their views and opinions of how Joseph raised his 9

children, and it's bad enough Joseph gets bad press, but this

group is to honor his contributions to music history and to

honor this man for raising his children to be respectful human

beings and talented performers. This group will not tolerate

any form of bashing Joseph Walter Jackson.

Thank you Ra Shawn and Mickey. Some of us are very happy that

you guys stepped up to the plate for Mr. Jackson. I’m sure he appre-

ciates the love.

In November of 2013 Sherry Gordy honored Mr. Joseph Jackson at

the Fiesta Casino in Las Vegas with a “Lifetime Achievement

Award”.

Joseph receives Lifetime Achievement Award from Sherry

Gordy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ru59zTX3zbI)

Mr. Jackson could not have received a more loving honor than the

one given to him by the two men behind the creation of this support

group, “TIME FOR JOE JACKSON TO BE HONORED”. Ra Shawn

and Mickey, you are Mr. Jackson’s “Shining Stars”.

Columbia College Chicago Dance Center produces and extremely informative House Music Symposium . One might wander who may not be familiar with the term “house music”, what this music and whole movement is about. House music falls under the genre EDM (ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC) and was born in Chicago shortly after the assassination of disco in the summer of 1979 at White Sox Park (now known as US CELLULAR FIELD). It is a mixture of classical, jazz, gospel and disco. IT’S A VERY SOULFUL MILOTIC SOUND! This event gave a history of the house music movement and the direction of the future of the house music community on a global level. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK SAGE, JILL, AND LAUREN FOR THE SUPPORT OF THIS EVENT. The event began with learning dance steps from Philadelphia based choreographer Moncell “ill Kozby” Durden. Moncil shared the east coast and New York style movements to house music which differs from Chicago style house music dancing. The routine infused stepping and

and we check our news at least 3 times a day.

My family and I have traveled to many MJ functions including

the Boston Vigil, The MTV Rally November 11, 2004, (Where

Geraldo talked to Michael on the phone in New York City.) and

many more.

M J-Upbeat has been featured on Michael’s older Official

site, (MJJSource) and also on the new site as well.

We love Michael Jackson so very much. I hope you enjoy our

site. If you’d like to contact me, my email

is: [email protected] HERE IS A LINK THAT SHOWS MJ-UPBEAT’S JOURNEY OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS. (same as link above): http://home.mj-upbeat.com/2013/10/04/mj-upbeat-com-celebrates-10-years-november-1st-learn-more-about-us/

B ack in 2003, I opened a small web site and named it ‘MJ-

Upbeat’. I don’t really know why I chose that name, but I

liked the ‘Upbeat’ part of it for sure. My web site was started

on a server that was free of charge called ‘Hometown’ AOL.

(They don’t have that site any longer) As time went on I realized

that I needed more space so I began paying for a larger server

& here I am 10 years later. So much has happened in this 10

years……………….

I hope you’ll get an idea of what MJ-Upbeat is all about by read-

ing some of our history below. It’s loaded with videos, MJ photos

and other cool stuff.

T he 2005 trial was hard to get through, but we did it. We had

a vigil here in Boston to show our support for Michael dur-

ing the allegations. My daughter’s and I created a banner for the

event. Here’s the banner we created below. We walked through

the streets of Boston with other MJ fans to show our support. It

was said that the banner was shipped to Neverland by the MJJF

team.

Renfield Has Nothing On Me

Hello, I am a grave robber. I come from a long, proud and dishonorable line. I am very proud of each of my ancestors.

The most renown was my uncle Renfield. He was in the employ of Doctor Frankenstein, before he took his last position with a Count Dracula.

Unlike Uncle Renfield, I do not steal the bodies, to create monsters. I steal a decedent's legacy through vilification, using slander to get the same results. But hold on, I am not common, like the gossips or rumor mill workers, although I will use their services later. The old bones I dig up for my creations are verbal. Sometimes I get a piece or a whole of it right. But if I cannot I will take a verbal tibia, fibula or brain that belongs to someone

else to construct falsehoods. And when none of those work, I fashion the piece needed. I am pleased to say I am very, very good at that kind of work; it is what I specialize in. The best part is neither my employer nor the people who read my creations SEEM TO care if I "fashioned" the story. Truth be told some prefer it that way. Just as with many of my ancestors, my name and work will live on long after the person or the truth has been forgotten. I am a grave robber but unlike my ancestors, or their monster masters. I am the monster and the master.

Hello I am grave robber, I steal from the dead and Renfield has nothing on me. Hello I am a defamer of the dead. I steal from the dead and Renfield has nothing on me. Hello I am Defamer the grave robber, I steal from the dead and Uncle Renfield has nothing on me.

We are the family of McKenzie -- a vibrant, giving, and sweet 12-year-old girl who was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an inoperable brain tumor, on November 28, 2012. The median overall survival of children diagnosed with DIPG is approximately 9 months, making it one of the most devastating pediatric malignan-cies. But McKenzie still has hope in the form of Antineoplastons therapy – a treat-

ment that could save her life if the FDA grants her compassionate use.

WATCHMAN ON THE WALL

This segment of the magazine was given the title of “Watchmen on the Wall” because the “Watchmen” are per-sons, in the Michael Jackson Community, who closely ob-serve activities of the followers in the community. These per-sons pay close attention to the conversations that tend to stir or arouse strong debates or arguments. The Watchmen gen-

erally keep their opinions to themselves and only observe.

The opinions which have no foundation of truth or cannot be verified are those that have, among many, caused unneces-sary divisions. Although the Watchmen’s opinions are just that, perhaps some sense can be made out of the views they have to offer. We hope so. All Watchmen will remain anony-mous to avoid confusion or more strong debates. These thoughts are merely the opinions of real people/fans. Just think of it as you would the “Dear Abby” column. Dear Abby gives her opinion but at the end of the day it is still just an

opinion.

Another major focus of interest, in the community, which seems to cause a great deal of anguish and conflict is the question “Did Michael Jackson Hate Being a Black Man”? This question was addressed in the last issue by a “Watchman”. However, another “Watchman” addresses it in a

different manner.

“Mom, who’s that?”

I wasn’t ready for the question because I was like everyone else that day in June. Sitting in front of CNN, too stunned to cry. My seven year old son and I watched as the inevitable picture retrospective started. From the brown skinned boy with the afro, wide brimmed purple hat and fringe vest to the lithe, white skinned man dressed in gold and pleading with

Iman to Remember the Time.

“Who’s who?” I said.

“That little black kid. Why’re they showing his picture?”

Like the rest of the world, I’d grown up on and with Michael Jackson. We grew together. I was fed an image of Michael Jackson and bought it- hook, line and sinker. Even when things started to get sketchy, I stood by his side because the music was what mattered. Even when he was hanging with

Bubbles. Even after he started morphing before my very eyes.

Make no mistake. Adolescence is hard. Imagine having that awkward phase broadcast around the world and immortalized on lunchboxes and in teen magazines. Every pimple is fodder for jokes on the late show. Personally, I can’t imagine the pressure. If I had unlimited resources to physically “fix” myself to keep the world from laughing at my big nose or my weak

chin, I can’t say that I wouldn’t.

But let’s take it a little darker (pardon the pun). Michael Jack-son was commodity in a business where selling to the masses is the ultimate goal. From little girls in Bucharest to Brentwood businessmen have to see themselves reflected in the King of Pop. And so Michael was masculine, but sexually nonthreat-ening. An adult who lived in a theme park. A black man, but with ever-lightening skin. Vitiligo aside, Michael Jackson was a shrewd businessman. A skin condition altered his appear-

ance, but it didn’t hurt his fan base, either.

Did he hate being a black man? I don’t think so. Michael Jack-son seemed to have existed in a vacuum that was at once between and above the simple concept of race. There were black people, white people, and Michael. A black man in America- any man in America- lives in a reality and suffers indignities that Michael Jackson would never experience. Mi-chael was the consummate entertainer, a demigod set above

and apart from the common man.

So, I don’t think Michael Jackson hated being a black man because how could he hate that which he’s had minimal expo-sure to? I do think he had grown tired of running on the ham-ster wheel to continue being The King of Pop and the perfec-tionism that used to drive him was now literally keeping him up all night. So, no. I don’t think Michael Jackson hated being a black man. Instead, I think the question is may be, in the

end, if he hated being Michael Jackson.

Sincerely,

The Watchman

If you have a story, photos you’ve created, an advocacy or vindication project, a human interest story, children’s project, legacy project, special video, a book, artwork or you may be

a support group; we will be delighted to promote you or your group in this new fan based magazine.

Our goal is to support the Michael Jackson fan community by sharing your journey with Michael before and after June 25, 2009.

We are very interested in your creations and reading about your journey with Michael. Your story may be that prescription that encourages beginners to move forward with the gift

that they have been holding onto out of trepidation to share.

What you have to offer is important to us. We consider no person or project to be mediocre. You are important to us. If you wish for anonymity, we will honor that too. Many of the
