By Evelyn Pointer Friday, March 9, 12 Friday, March 9, 12 Do you know who is righteous? Currently only God is able to tell the intents of the heart and to know who belongs to him. We cannot tell if a person belongs to God by just looking at them. We can only judge a person by what they do. We also know what God has told us that he has children everywhere but that there are more wicked than righteous people. Friday, March 9, 12 Friday, March 9, 12

In this world we live in a mixed multitude. There is a mixture of good and evil in everything. This is the fruit of the tree that Adam and Eve ate. Good and evil is combined and grows together, mix together on one tree. But what does Christ say? “Either make the tree good, and his fruit good or else make the tree corrupt and his fruit corrupt. “It is the will of Christ and of the Father that this mixture of good and evil does not continue to exist. To this end there is a time of division between the children of God and the children of the devil that occurs at the dividing of time; the time of the harvest. When Christ walked this earth at his first coming he spake about this occurrence in many of his parables one such parable is about the the tares in the field.

Do you know who is righteous? Currently only God is able to tell the intents of the heart and to know who belongs to him. We cannot tell if a person belongs to God by

just looking at them. We can only judge a person by what they do. We also know what God has told us that he has children everywhere but that there are more wicked than

righteous people.

Wheat and Tares...Another parable put forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. but when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, disdst not thou sow good seed in they field? From whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Matthew 13: 24-30

Wheat and Tares

What I did not fully understand and what was curious to me was verse 30. He said “Gather in together first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barns.”This was curious tome because I very well know, we all know that the saints will be gathered first before the wicked are burned in the lake of fire. Let us examine what was said closer.Starting again with verse 30, “Let both grow together until the harvest.” We know the harvest is the end of the world. Now if we read Matthew 13: 36-43.

The harvest extends from the dividing of time; which is the beginning of the harvest and dos not conclude until all things are finished. When are all things finished? When this earth is destroyed with all the wicked and Satan and death at the time of the second death. At that time all of God’s saints will be delivered not just from death but from the earth and taken to a new earth. Revelations 20: 12-15. Revelations 21: 1-4.

Again, let us go back to Matthew 13: 38 the field is the world and we remain in this earth are not delivered out until this earth is destroyed. In Matthew 13: 30 says “gather in together first the tares to bind them.” Christ did not expound in detail about this but if you read his other parable you will better understand how the tares are gathered and bound, and why they are bound first before the wheat. Matthew 22: 1-14 is another parable.

The HighwayBriefly it is about how a king made a marriage for his son, but those bidden refused to come and he sent forth his angles to destroy them--this was Israel who were the ones called first, the he bade his servants gather people from the highways to furnish the wedding. They found people good and bad; this is when the gospel went out to all the world and they took on the name of Christ coming to the marriage but many were bad. Now read the last verses found in Matthew 22: 11-14.

The Marriage of the King’s son

And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: and he said unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Matthew 22: 11-14.

Outer DarknessThe key here is outer darkness. Whey you are bound you are bound or cast first in outer darkness When you are bound you are bound or cast first in outer darkness before you go to the lake of fire; which is at the very end.

What is outer darkness? Outer darkness is the condition of sin and wickedness. When you are bound in this condition you are sealed in sin. Your condition is sealed in sin. Your condition is unchanged--in other words as Christ said either make the the tree good or make it corrupt. Proverbs 4: 18-19. Luke 11: 34-36. Luke 22: 53. Peter 2: 4. Peter 2: 17. Jude 6, 13. Matthew 25: 28-30.

Many of us may have begun in darkness but Christ calls us into the light. We must remain in the light. Before the very end, while this world still exists; there will be a time when God makes a division between all of the people that were born on this earth At that time the books will be open and the judgment set and the decree will be announced.
