Wheelchair & ADA FurnitureVirco’s diverse furniture models for K-12 and higher learning venues include a selection of wheelchair accessible tables and desks as well as an offering of models that are truly ADA compliant. To meet Federal ADA standards, tables and desks must provide clearance under the worksurface of the following measurements: 30” width x 19” depth x 27” of vertical knee clearance. Tables and desks with an adjustable height range of 28”-34” are considered wheelchair compatible, even though they do not meet ADA standards. Your Virco representative would be happy to help you evaluate our array of wheelchair-compatible and ADA compliant tables and desks for your campus.

Virco’s traditional 4000 Series gives you an additional single-student wheelchair-accessible and ADA compliant furniture alternative. 4000 Series models are available with a high-pressure laminate work surface.

The 723 Series offers you a choice of wheelchair-accessible and ADA compliant desks with a high-pressure laminate top or a Fortified Recycled Wood hard plastic work surface.

Virco’s TEXT Series of adjustable-height desks and tables are ideal for wheelchair-accessible and ADA compliant applications.

ZUMA® Series Single-Student Desks Single student desk models are available with a high-pressure laminate work surface. ZUMA adjust-able-height desks have a top height range of 28" to 34".

TEXT desks and tables are available with a T-leg with a lower profile upper frame.

These 24" deep tables can be used for standard work stations, in technology labs or as seminar tables.

This adjustable-height table can be raised up to accommodate a wheelchair. These tables are ideal for a variety of classroom environ-ments and are available for single or multiple student use.

This adjustable-height table can be used in a variety of school settings, from the classroom to the office.

Virco’s Flip-Top Series is perfect for classes that require keyed access to power and data ports.

Virco offers two Textameter instructor stations that will accommodate wheelchairs when specified without the pencil tray option.

For Lunada tables that are 30" x 48" and wider, fully raise the glides to achieve proper height for ADA compliance.

For Plateau tables that are 30” x 60” and wider, fully raise the glides to achieve proper height for ADA compliance.
