when use bypass, the positioner is bypassed and control signal is applied directly to the control valve actuator. Bypass allows postioner to be removed without disturbing the control valve operation.In practice, the bypass is often removed after the postioner has been commissioned to avoid confusion and misuse.

And split range operation, reverse acting postioner, valve bench set not standard, we can't use bypass on a positioner.
