The RBD attaches to a RigLock® wellhead connection and enables the operator to drop frac balls remotely – up to 150 ft away from the wellhead. This means field personnel can avoid working near high-pressure wellhead equipment and no longer need to be hoisted in a lift to deploy frac balls.
