The goal of the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is to assist individuals who need more treatment than traditional outpatient services, but do not need an overnight stay at the hospital. Clients attend groups which are offered daily from 9:15 am – 3:00 pm.
Admission
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for individuals 18 and up. Call 847.952.7464 or email [email protected] for an immediate screening.
Cost
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are covered by most insurance plans. Medicare will cover PHP but not IOP. Self-payment options are also available based upon a sliding fee scale. AMITAhealth.org/BehavioralMedicine/

AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Center for Mental Health in Arlington Heights offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to provide help in a community-based setting. These comprehensive, short-term (1-4 week) programs provide support for adults and older adults experiencing an increase in anxiety or depression symptoms. We offer medical evaluation, therapeutic groups and individual and family meetings. Groups are offered daily from 9:15 am – 3 pm.
