One of the twenty Music TheoryTests that make up part of the http://musicteachingresources.com materials.

There are ten basic tests (like this one) that look at triads and basic scales alongside a further ten worksheets that use more "advanced" material such as 7th Chords etc

The Theory Tests can be used as a diagnostic tool at the start of a course In order to Give an accurate "snapshot" of your student's current capabilities and/or at regular intervals throughout it to let you (and your learners) know how far you (and they) have progressed with relation to developing an understanding of music theory?

To the right are some of the worksheets designed to allow students to become familiar with the following concepts...

1. Every note has a name.

2. Some notes have two possible names?
