– The location of Hester’s cottage on the edge of town, supports Hawthorne’s depiction of her as an independent woman.

• Use 1 word instead of two– As the story goes on– As the story continues

Don’t use both. Better to use However. The word however, however, should not be placed in the beginning of the sentence.
