What is a “Market Place?”Place where things are

bought and soldPlace where some people

become more wealthy and others become less wealthy

Place where people are seen as a source from which others get what they want

Place where people themselves become a commodity

Jesus and StoppingGod is NOT a

commodity that can be bought, sold and put in our pocket

People are NOT to used as a commodity either

The sign that I am telling the truth is…..

How do we know we can believe you?

1. We are not to turn religious activity into a Marketplace event.

2. We won’t really believe that until we experience the death and resurrection for ourselves.

Behaving in ways that demonstrate the have value in themselves

5) Seeing your parents as unimportant (20:12)

Accepting they are part of you, like it or not

6) Thinking other people you don’t like are disposable (20:13)

Recognizing ever person has value that you do not own

7) Thinking other people exist to satisfy you own appetites (20:14)

Respecting people and their relationships with others
