    Dear healthcare professional,

The 38th edition of Arab Health has now closed its doors on a record-breaking amount of delegates, visitors, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved in the show, particularly our supporters The Ministry of Health, Dubai Health Authority, Health Authority Abu Dhabi and SEHA, without whom the show would not have been possible.

This year, we not only had more exhibitors, visitors, delegates, media, speakers and sponsors than ever before, we also achieved increased press coverage, floor space, more country pavilions, but most important of all, a huge influx of international visitors. This demonstrates the resilience of the healthcare industry in the region.

Arab Health 2013 saw many exhibitor workshops, on-stand demonstrations across the show floor, as well as press conferences from Healthcare UK, the US Pavilion and Burjeel Hospital announcing ground-breaking new partnerships and collaborations within the Middle East healthcare sector.

The Arab Health Congress grew by 12% this year, saw an increase of more than 850 conference delegates from last year, each taking part in one of the 19 conferences held across the four days. Three new conferences were launched with resounding success. Answering the demand in the region for Diabetes education, the first Middle East Diabetes Conference (accredited by Cleveland Clinic) completely sold out two weeks before the event.

The stimulating business-focused atmosphere was clearly felt by all during the four-day event with multi-million dollar deals and partnerships being signed onsite, making Arab Health 2013 the most successful edition thus far for exhibitors and visitors alike.

This post-show report summarises the 2013 event using comparisons from 2012 to demonstrate how the show has grown and outlines the strategies used to deliver and expand the event for the future. If you are already involved with Arab Health as an exhibitor, visitor or delegate, we would like to thank you for your continued support in making it such a great success.

We look forward to welcoming you next year from 27-30 January 2014, at Arab Health and MEDLAB.

    Kind regards,
