RESOLUTION NO 09Series of 2012

A RIESOLUTION ENDORSING THE APPLICATION OF NATIONWIDEDEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (NADECOR), THE PROPONENT OF THEKINGKING COPPER AND GOLD PROJECT, FOR ITS DECLARATION OF MININGFEASIBILlTV (DMF) BEFORE THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTALMANAGEMENT BUREAU (EMS)

WHEREAS, a request for a resolution was addressed to the Barangay Captain,Hon. Omar B. Munoz was received last March 23, 2012 and presented to the council forapproval;

WHEREAS, NADECOR is a corporation duly organized and existing under andby virtue of the laws of the Philippines entered into partnership with the PhilippineGovernment to explore and develop a mine and was granted a Mineral ProductionSharing Agreement (MPSA No. 009-92-XI) a 1, 66 hectares mining tenement locatedin Brgys. Kingking, Magnaga, Tagdangua and Araibo, Municipality of Pantukan,Compostela Valley Province;

WHEREAS, after the conduct of exploration activities, certain areas of the MPSAhave the potential to be developed into commercial operations;

WHEREAS, NADECOR will be proposing a mining project in these areas and willsecure the necessary permits from the Philippine Government before it cancommercially operate;

NOW THEREFORE, after a thorough deliberation was made on the matter, on motionof Hon. Anton D. Figuro, Barangay Kagawad, unanimously seconded by all memberspresent, it was;

RESOL VED, as it is hereby resolved to pass a resolution endorsing the KingkingCopper and Gold Project of Nationwide Development Corporation;

RES LVED FINALL Y, to furnish copies of this resolution to the Office of theMayor, Office of the Provincial Governor, Department of Environment and NaturalResources (DENR)- Environmental Management Bureau (EBM) and the SangguniangBayan Members for their information and record;
