Which of The Two Did The Will of His Father?
Matthew 21: 28‐32
1. The father said to the son: “Son, go, work today in my vineyard.” <28>
a. If the two sons had listened to their father’s command diligently,
what will they receive?
i. Before the father asked the sons to work in the
vineyard, he has already prepared all the blessings to
the sons.
ii. The sons will also enjoy working with the father and
inherit the father’s assets.
b. Since our Father in Heaven had told us much, those whom had
listened and believed are called to be blessed.
i. For the things which we need to know, He has already
mentioned and revealed to us…
ii. Who is God / who am I / what is the world / how will
the Kingdom of Heaven descend / the perfect will of
God / how the future will be…
iii. Why did God created me and allow me to be born
again / how could we see God, communicate with God,
walk with God / how can we bless our families, our
living area and the world.
c. God’s words
bring
forth
the
power
of
creation
and
it
will
be
done
when it was spoken.
i. When God said let there be light and there was
light…whatever God said, it was done…<Gen 1: 1‐3>,
all things were made by the Word <John 1:3>, God’s
word is alive and it has the effective power; Heaven
and earth will pass away, but My words will by no
means pass away <Matt 24: 35>. If you abide in Me,
and My words abide in you, you will ask what you
desire, and it shall be done for you <John 15: 7>.
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words
of this prophecy, and keep those things which are
written in it <Rev 1: 3>.
d. If only we are willing, we could enjoy a blessed life just like those
extraordinary people
in
the
Holy
Bible.
i. If we could believe what Abraham, David and Paul
believed, we will become today’s Abraham, David and
Paul, whom had enjoyed the blessings belonging to the
Heaven, the earth and the eternal throughout our
lives.
ii. But most saints in the current era did not behave at
such. That is why Paul had to pray for them <
Ephesians 1: 15‐23, 3: 14‐21>.
2. Which of the two did the will of his father? <29‐32>
a. He answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go = Chief Priest,
Scribes and the elders.
i. = The people who have died in the wilderness (full of
complains,
fear,
idols
worshippers,
those
who
did
not
succumb to God) / The Israelites whom had worship
the idols in the land of Canaan.
ii. = The Israelites who walks according to the paths of
King Saul and Jeroboam.
iii. = This also refers to the disciples of the current
churches who looked as though they are worshipping
the Lord and serving the Lord, but they have not seen
and followed the Lord.
iv. = The polluted Gospel messages which blends matters
of the world, outward behavior, knowledge, legalism,
mysticism and humanism. These are the people who
don’t understand the root problem of mankind
(spiritual death / the flesh, the root of sin, evil spirit
<Ephesians 2: 1‐3> As a result, they do not understand
the mysteries and secrets of the Gospel of Jesus Chris
<Ephesians 2: 4‐6>.
v. = Those who do not understand dying and resurrecting
together with Jesus Christ and being together in
Heaven (The blood scarifies of Able/ Noah’s ark / the
blood of the lamb at the day of Passover / the word
became flesh, die and resurrected, the Jesus Chris
who governs the throne), (the sanctification of exiling
from Egypt,
the
spiritual
cleansing
of
crossing
the
Red
Sea, the communication in the Tabernacle, following
the pillar of cloud and fire, the objectives of walking
towards the land of Canaan); Therefore, they have no
ways to understand their identity, belongings
relationships, promises, authorities and inheritance. A
a result, they have no ways to understand the Lord’
perfect will in everything. Their spirits are as good a
dead; because they can’t see that the Lord is with
them and guides them. They live a blur religious life
style.
** The Lord from today’s bible scripture said: “For John
came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did
not believe him”. <32>
** The Lord said, they have not loved Me in their lives
that is why they do not follow the word of the Lord
and therefore, they will not see that the Lord is with
them and guided them <John 14: 21‐24>. The Lord said
that they do not belong to God; they are not the sheep
of the Lord, not the wheat; but they are the goats
barnyard grass and the sons of Satan <John 8: 42‐47>
b. He answered: ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went =
the tax collectors and harlots who have regretted = the people
with the 8 beatitudes.
i. Among the Israelites, this relates to those who truly
understand the meaning of dying and resurrection o
Christ (those who went through circumcision) = the
living principles
of
Abraham,
Moses,
David.
ii. Among the gentiles, this relates to those whom have
heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and had believed
repented (turning towards God), baptized (dying and
resurrecting with Christ), their sins were forgiven
received the holy spirit, obtained a new life and
became the children of God, because they understand
their “fundamental problem” and are willing to die and
be resurrected with Christ in order to obtain a new life
As a result, the Holy Spirit made them in no ways to fa
in love with the world, sin and their old selves; at the
same time pushing them to see that God is with them
guiding them and to be serious about discovering
God’s perfect will so that they will love God naturally
and follow
God’s
way.
All these will happen because they have witnes
their new life, understood that Jesus Christ had came
into their new lives through the Holy Spirit and the
truth, and had believed that their lives are Christ’
body, the temple of the Holy Spirit, God’s children and
the citizens of Heaven. Therefore, their ultimate
objective is to glorify God, be beneficial to the people
and the contribution to the establishment of the
Kingdom (the 4 gospelization) and they seek God’s wi
through their objectives and their new identities. They
are able to see God anytime and anywhere.

Since then, they will naturally love to learn about
God’s word (the perfect will of the Lord) and they love
to be cleansed, ask from the Lord, intersession of
prayer, hand over to the Lord and hope from the Lord,
making these attributes the center of their lives (living
a life in focus of the tabernacle). They will gradually
learn about God’s perfect will and they will have many
more evidences of God’s guidance and blessings.
As a result, they became a “living sacrifice”.
Whatever these
people
do
in
their
lives
became
a
means to glorify God (they glorify God, benefited the
people and contributed to the establishment of the
Kingdom). Their lives are systematic and has a point of
focus. Therefore, for the message and testimony they
speak to the other people are very practical and easy
to understand. They will attract people with the same
set of lives (the lives of 8 beatitudes). Their lives will
continue to expand and will bear even more fruits.
** The Lord said: “He who has My
commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves
Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father,
and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” <John
14: 21>; “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them,
and they follow Me” <John 10: 27>; I am the vine, you
are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,
bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing
<John 15: 5>; “Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations…I am with you always, even to the end of
the age” <Matt 28: 18‐20>
3. Blessed are those whom had regretted.
a. The regret which brings new life <John 3: 3, Eph 2: 1‐10, Romans
6: 1‐11, Acts 9: 1‐22> = it will only happen once in a life time.
i. Only those who know their fundamental problem will
understand that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah).
ii. Those who truly knew Christ will then willing to
sacrifice
everything,
asking
to
die
and
to
be
resurrected with Christ, so that they could obtain a
new life and a new objective.
iii. Those who truly knew the mysteries and secrets of
Christ will understand how to see God in Christ and
seek God’s perfect will.
** For those whom have not experience such regret
are not “born again” <John 3: 1‐21>.
b. The regret which acts as a turning point for a person <Luke 24: 13‐
35, Acts 11: 25‐26, 13: 1‐3, 16: 6‐10> = it will happen at least once
in a life time.
i. For a blessed saint, he/she will definitely have at least
one turning point in the career and his/her life.
ii. This will happen only after we discover our mistakes,
failures, obstacle,
weakness
and
limitation,
only
then
we give up our selves so that we could renew our
selves while waiting for God’s leading and guidance.
Within the time of humbleness, we will discover God’s
perfect will, God’s timing and God’s method in all
things.
iii. For every time we encounter our turning point, we will
receive a new anointment of grace, strength,
occupation and frontier…
For those who were born again, but did not seek their
lives’ objectives, they live a life without a master and
they will not witness their changes out of their regrets.
c. The regrets which will lead us to be filled with the Holy Spirit
having the ability to cast out the demons and returning to the
Kingdom of Heaven <Matt 12: 28, Romans 14: 17, Eph 5: 15‐21
Philippians 3: 7‐14, Gal 5: 16‐24, Exodus 29: 38‐46> = we have to
sacrifice ourselves in everything and every moment in order to
obtain the strength in Christ’s resurrection.
i. There are 2 laws which are conflicting in the life of a
blessed disciple (the Holy Spirit and the flesh) <Gal 5
17, Romans 8: 5‐11>.
ii. When a saint is willing to follow the guidance of the
Holy Spirit
<John
4:
26>
and
the
guidance
of
Lord
Jesu
Christ, they will be filled with the Holy Spirit. From
there, they will witness the guidance and strength o
the Holy Spirit and they will see the fruits of the Holy
Spirit in their lives <Gal 5: 22‐23>.
iii. When the disciples depended on the Holy Spirit, they
could cast out the demons, the Kingdom of Heaven wi
descend <Matt 12: 28>. They received all kinds o
graces and rewards from the Heaven <James 1: 17
18>, and for those who are with the disciples, they
could see the works of the Holy Spirit and they were
blessed <Acts 2: 5‐41>
** Only the disciples whom had determined thei
objectives of lives, obtained the perfect will of the
Lord, had experienced the strength and the fruit of the
Holy Spirit when they were humbled, and love living in
focus to the tabernacle (prayer life), could enjoy the
strength of “resurrection” anytime and they are able to
bless others.
