Energy Breakthrough Colour Run Success!
Last Thursday the majority of the school took part in the
inagural Energy Breakthrough Colour Run fundraiser. On
behlaf of the EB team I would like to thank the community for
their generous support of this entertaining activity as they have
raised approximatley $10,000! Many parents joined the staff to
throw the coloured powder at the children as they ran past.
Hopefully this will become an annual event for the Energy
Breakthrough team.

Assemblies for Term 4 We will be continuing with assemblies on a Friday afternoon from
3.10pm in Term 4 and will be seeking feedback from the community
mid Term 4 to assist us in planning for 2019. We have certaily
noticed an increase in parent numbers at assemblies on a Friday
afternoon compared to Monday morning and the staff enjoy having
the crucial morning learning time available to teach as the children
are more attentive earlier in the day. Anyone who would like to
provide feedback now can email me on:

fleece lined and also has a hood. At School Council on Monday evening, approval
was given to the purchase of the new winter jacket. Please see the photo in today’s
newsletter of the jacket. The jacket will come with the embroided letters WHPS and
is available in sizes 4-16 for $39 and adult sizes S-3XL for $42. Orders need to be

Music News You or your child may have noticed a colourful
mural which has been evolving over the last few
weeks on the music room wall?! Before the end
of term it is hoping to be completed with the
additions of some lucky students from grades 3
– 6 who have carefully and creatively designed
Dr. Suess inspired characters in black
silhouettes. Thank you to all those students who
submitted their designs – make sure in Term 4,
you check out the wall, and see if you can spot
your creation painted in black silhouette!
A big Thank You to the Bendigo ‘PaintRight’
