Rental Units:

All owners who rent your unit must have your renter stop at the office or guard house to check in when they arrive. (Even if you gave the renter your gate pass). We need to get vehicle information and phone numbers in case of emergencies. Make sure you have a copy of the WHP Rules and Regulations in your unit.

MARINA UPDATE

The Marina is ready for the boats. The water and electric is hooked up and ready for the season. Please check the Boat Dock List at the Marina because your Dock Number and Location may have changed from last season. With making all Boat Slips 10’ wide, we lost 3 slips from the old Marina set-up. This caused a change for a couple of Dock Owners. We still kept (2) rental slips for $10 per day. The office keeps a schedule for renting out the slips. The BOD has revised the Rules and Regulations for the Marina and there are some major changes such as: No Lot Owner can receive a Boat Slip without owning a boat. We have already had damage to our Marina and a report and pictures have been turned over to the BOD for further investigation. Ed Webb Marina Chairperson 410-208-6137

White Horse Park Times 3

Hello everyone ! The Park is buzzing with preparations for the coming season. The bathhouses are open after some needed repairs. The pool area has been cleaned as well as the furniture and is ready for use. We should be getting a large dumpster for the clean-up season and it will be there through June for owners’ convenience. If you are having contractors do works on your unit please make arrangements with them to take away the waste. We are paid a fee from Serpe Home Improvement to use the Park dumpsters we do not have that agreement with any other contractors. The pavilion at the pool will be completed within the next week or so. Our first event with the new addition to the clubhouse will be Memorial Day. The picnic for the park will be on Saturday, May 23rd. Please try to attend it will be a good way to start off the season. There was good attendance at the April Board Meeting. There were a lot of owners in the park opening up their units and getting ready for summer. Many owners have found problems with their plumbing due to pipe breakage resulting from the harsh winter we experienced. The last two winters have been really unusual for our area. Many members came to hear the DNR representative who was going to attend the meeting, however, he was not able to make it at the last minute and has rescheduled for the meeting on May 16th. Hopefully nothing will come up to prevent him from coming to that meeting. If you are interested in hearing what he has to say try to attend the meeting on May 16th. Some of the business that was covered at the meeting was Marina Rules were voted on and passed. A vote on materials to divide off spots in the boatyard was voted on and passed. This should help with the spacing between boats in the yard. The Board passed a motion to publish a Directory of owners and lot numbers in the park. No phone numbers or addresses will be published unless an owner requests this. They should be available at the Annual Meeting, on Saturday, June 27th. Revised rules and regulations for the Park will be voted on at the May Board Meeting. We really hope to see you all there. Please keep in mind that we will be having an election this year. There are two openings on the Board this year. Each term will be for three years. If you are interested in serving on the Board you must submit a resume' to the office by May 13th. I would like to thank everyone who contributes to keeping the Park going, the Board members, the committee members, the volunteers, and our Parks managers, the Office and our maintenance crew. The results of the work of these members and staff are evident all around the Park. We are looking good! If you have concerns or suggestions, please submit them to the Board either through the website, or in writing at the office. Pat Heath
